During the month of May 2020, a GMC Canyon discount drops the price of select 2020 models by $2,750, while a separate incentive offers interest-free financing.
Additionally, these offers are available to all buyers, and the Professional Grade brand is also offering attractive lease offers in most markets for current eligible lessees.
Incentives
The nationwide GMC Canyon discount offer for the midsize pickup truck during the month of May 2020 is as follows:
- Featured Purchase Offer: $2,750 customer cash
- Excludes SL trim level
- Featured Finance Offer: 0 percent APR for up to 84 months
- Excludes SL trim level
Interested parties should note that the aforementioned GMC Canyon discount offers will run through June 1st, 2020. Additionally, buyers should take note of the model restrictions for each offer.
Furthermore, until June 30th, 2020, General Motors is also offering special vehicle discounts for first responders and healthcare workers on the frontlines of the battle against the COVID-19 coronavirus.
For reference, the price of each trim level of the 2020 Canyon, including the $1,095 destination charge, is as follows:
- SL – $23,295 (excluded from this month’s incentive offers)
- Base – $26,795
- SLE – $30,195
- SLT – $36,995
- All Terrain – $37,695
- Denali – $41,595
It’s worth noting that this month’s offer is much less generous than the incentives GMC offered in the fourth quarter of 2019, including a 16 percent discount offered in December and 14 percent discount offered in November, which was similar to the offer in October and in September. Even the $4,000 rebate in January was more worthwhile than May’s featured discount.
