We here at GM Authority have covered a wide range of topics when it comes to the new 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8, from putting the mid-engine sports car on jacks, to configuring the alarm system, to fixing the dash glare issue. Now, we’re taking a look at another knowledge base for new Vette owners, which includes nearly two dozen new 2020 Corvette videos.
The knowledge base in question is called Corvette Academy, and it’s offered free of charge as an online resource for Corvette owners to find information on driver assistance features, performance features, maintenance, and more. Earlier today, Chevrolet announced that it was adding 23 new 2020 Corvette videos to the repository, bringing it up to 47 videos total.
The new 2020 Corvette videos vary in terms of length, and can be as short as 30 seconds, or as long as three minutes, 45 seconds. The topics cover just about anything a new Vette owner might want to know, such as how to pair their smartphone using Bluetooth, configuring the cabin memory settings for the seats and steering wheel, the functionality of the various driver assistance features, checking the vehicle fluids, and removing the targa top roof.
The videos are slick, and include high production values, with quality voiceover narration and gorgeous camera work. Indeed, for those folks that prefer to watch a video over cracking an owner’s manual, these 2020 Corvette videos may provide an adequate alternative, at least in terms of providing basic information and an overview of the topic in question.
Another notable topic covered by the 2020 Corvette videos is track day preparation. As covered at length previously, the mid-engine Chevrolet Corvette is designed to be a true track weapon, but it still require a few things to ensure a smooth day carving out apexes.
The videos are available to view at Chevrolet.com, the Corvette Academy YouTube channel, the MyChevy app, and via the Chevrolet owner center. We’ll cover more of these 2020 Corvette videos at length in later posts, so stay tuned.
