Cadillac CT5 Finished In Evergreen Metallic: Live Photos

Many luxury automakers face criticism over a lack of color choices on their vehicles, but it’s safe to say that no one will be complaining about the available colors on the new Cadillac CT5. The luxury sedan is available in twelve exterior colors, comprised of seven metallic and two pearlescent options, giving customers plenty of choice when ordering their car at the dealership.

One of our favorite available colors for the 2020 Cadillac CT5 is Evergreen Metallic. This particular hue, which carries the color code GJ0 and touch-up code WA-624D, is available with all five interior color combinations available for the 2020 Cadillac CT5. These include the following:

  • Jet Black with Jet Black accents
  • Sahara Beige with Jet Black accents
  • Maple Sugar with Jet Black accents
  • Sedona Sauvage with Jet Black accents
  • Whisper Beige with Jet Black accents

This live photo gallery gives us our first look at the 2020 Cadillac CT5 in Evergreen Metallic. Neither the Cadillac ATS nor the Cadillac CTS were offered with green paint at any point, making the availability of Evergreen Metallic on the Cadillac CT5 rather special. This particular car is a Premium Luxury trim level model, which sits one rung above the base-level Luxury model in the trim hierarchy and is equal to the performance-inspired Sport trim level in Cadillac’s Y-trim level strategy. Premium Luxury models receive a bevy of model-specific equipment including a unique grille treatment, red tail lamp housings, bright door handles, and bright window moldings. This car also has the available 18-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels, which feature a Manoogian Silver finish and all-season tires.

GM Authority captured this Evergreen Metallic Cadillac CT5 as it sat on the lot at Sheehan Cadillac in Pompano Beach, Florida. The deep, rich green color looks excellent on the CT5, in our opinion, and will be a much-appreciated addition to the vehicle’s color palette considering how many luxury vehicles are painted black, white or silver.

Under the hood of this Evergreen Metallic Cadillac CT5 is General Motors‘ turbocharged 2.0L LSY inline four-cylinder engine, which produces a healthy 237 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 258 pound-feet of torque. Paired with the engine is GM’s new 10-speed automatic transmission (production code MHS).

      1. The lighting doesn’t do this color justice. In order to give a better assessment it would need some pictures on direct sunlight to show off the metallic and how it “pops”.

        1. I had a chevy cruze in rainforest green and I got so many compliments from strangers at gas stations, rest areas, parking lots, etc.
In direct sunlight it looked forest green, but on a cloudy day and in indirect light it looked nearly black like with this CT5.

        2. I have a CT5 V in this color. It is a head turner. Sometimes looks black, some light makes it a unique green. Sometimes highlights show green, fading off to almost black. Quite striking actually. Some may not like it, I suppose, but I get a lot of attention. I hope it stays rare. It has to be seen to know what to expect. Sun angle, cloudy, partially cloudy all affect it.

  2. The CTS was available in Evolution Green one year, but that was a really ugly metallic army green.

  5. It’s a nice green, for those who like green or want to be different.

The cloudy day doesn’t show it well.

When they cut/replace some colors, it will probably be one of the first to get cut, along with one of the reds.

I feel CT4/5 needs a silver color. Satin Steel is too dark for those who like silver.

  6. Any car maker that offers more than black, white and an endless selection of grays and silvers is OK by me.

  7. GM in it’s infinite state of insanity! They drop the really sharp Rally green on the Camaro after one model year but make another different shade of green on a 4 door Cadillac on the same basic chassis! Why why why
