2021 GMC Yukon To Offer Body Security Package

The 2021 GMC Yukon debuted in January with a brand-new generation. Now, GM Authority has learned that the freshly overhauled SUV will be offered with a rather interesting package. It’s called the Advanced Security Package, and it adds a host of features designed to protect the full-sizer from would-be thieves.

The 2021 GMC Yukon Advanced Security Package is only offered on the range-topping Denali trim level. Buyers can pair the package with both the standard-length Yukon and the extended-length Yukon XL.

Interestingly, the Advanced Security Package is offered exclusively as part of the 2021 GMC Yukon’s Advanced Technology Package, which is priced at $1,780. Buyers can only get the Advanced Security Package in conjunction with the Advanced Technology Package.

For those that want some added peace of mind with their 2021 GMC Yukon Denali, the Advanced Security Package seems like an obvious option to grab.

In addition to the security package outlined here, the 2021 GMC Yukon also arrives with a brand-new design for the exterior and interior, with the latter including a new Power Sliding Center Console, as we highlighted previously. What’s more, the next-gen model also adds the AT4 off-roader trim level as a new addition to the lineup.

Engine options include the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 as standard for the lower trims, while the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 is standard on the Denali. The turbodiesel 3.0L I6 LM2 Duramax also joins the options list, although it is not available on the AT4. All three engines connect to the new GM 10-speed automatic transmission.
