2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer Rendered With Coupe Roof

The 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer made its U.S. debut last year at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show, reintroducing the nameplate as an all-new subcompact crossover. Offering head-turning styling, the new Trailblazer continues the design themes laid out by the new Chevrolet Blazer, incorporating an aggressive front fascia and sports car-inspired rear end. Now, one artist has rendered the crossover with a coupe-like roof.

Posted by Instagram user @kdesignag, the new Chevrolet Trailblazer rendering adds a curving roofline to the 2021 Trailblazer RS trim level. As such, the crossover sports black accents and a unique grille treatment, with a large lower intake section, unique headlamp surrounds, and black Chevy Bow Tie emblems.

Unlike the flat roof and hard angles of the standard 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer, this rendering comes with a curving line that falls more gently into the rear end. The look gives the crossover a more SUV-esque appearance, unlike the hatchback styling of the standard vehicle. The black lower cladding remains, while the rear haunches get a bold styling crease above the rear wheels.

The artist even saw fit to render up the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer coupe from the rear. This second rendering image shows off a different look than the first, with a large glass section and black roof spoiler adding more substance to the aesthetic. Additionally, the rearmost pillar still curves downwards in a gentle arc, unlike the hard angles of the standard vehicle. The tail lamps add visual width to the package, and come connected with a prominent horizontal trim line, while the lower fascia gets a black insert with integrated exhaust tips left and right.

  1. Manufacturers and subsequently the auto-media need to get away from try to pass off a fastback, or station wagons, or whatever, as a coupe or something else that they aren’t. Or as we see here is a kammback CUV roofline?.. certainly not a coupe. Whereas vehicles like the X6 or Model X are a fastback CUV
Call this something new, just don’t keep ruining “coupe”.

Next thing you know a full-size SUV is going to be called a roadster because it has ride height adjustable shocks and lowers to the “road” and is sporty “ster”

  2. What about a rendering of the Trailblazer with a rear section similar to that of the Chevrolet Avalanche because this is supposed to be a fun vehicle and not really a work truck.

    1. Yes , Yes , Yes, a excellent idea but the chassis would need to have a extended wheelbase , maybe 5 to 7 inches
more and forget the pass through , just keep it a straight cargo bed .
Done right styling wise that’d be a looker also . Make a tonneau cover standard that lockable and it’d be
      doubly super cool .
Now you have room for passenger and the groceries or whatever. That’d be one super handy vehicle there.

  4. how about a 2 door? Not all of us need 4.door family vehicles. 95% I’m driving by myself, if someone complains about having to crawl in back, they can drive and it saves me gas!! Leave the 4 doors for families and people in carpools

    1. And you want a 2DR because?

    2. Sorry , everyone needs a four door . Loading a 2 door car unless its like a super cool vintage bmw 2003 or the
like is a pain in the ass and bmw even made a hatchback 2002 for europe and england , they’re super rare
      but good looking .
Try loading groceries fumbling with the seat forward mechanism.

  5. that’s what trunks are for, who puts groceries in the back seat? I’ve never owned a 4 door in my life and have never had an issue. the only thing that would be a pain to load in a 2 door would be car seats…. that’s when you would buy a four-door because you’re a family man.

  6. While I think it looks nice, I bet it wouldn’t be popular.
