General Motors has already implemented a number of measures to help customers and drive sales amid the coronavirus pandemic, including 0 percent financing and deferred payments, but now it’s also made similar changes on the accessories side of things.
All GM brands are currently offering 10% off the listing price of all products and free ground shipping when ordered online. That includes all Cadillac, Buick, GMC and Chevrolet accessories, so whether a customer owns a luxurious family car like a Cadillac XT6 or a hardcore sports car like a C7 Corvette Grand Sport, there is a deal on certified GM accessories for their car.

Among the accessories in GM brands’ various parts catalogs are accessory grilles, assist steps, floor liners, vehicle care kits, door sill plates, tablet holders and cargo section organizers, among much, much more. While 10% may not be a massive discount, that can take quite a bit off the price of more expensive GM accessories, which include alloy wheels, accessory grilles, air intake kits, exhaust upgrade kits and brake upgrade kits.
In addition to GM accessories, the automakers’ brand sites also offer GM Associated Accessories, which include storage racks and containers from third-party companies like Thule, Lund and UWS.
In a statement released earlier this month, GM CEO Mary Barra said “these are extraordinary times and we are focused on navigating the situation responsibly,” by implementing strict policies at its various facilities to keep workers safe. This includes the processing and shipping facilities where the automaker’s accessories will be coming from for online orders in the United States and Canada.
“I understand how uncertain these times feel. For many of us, it’s our first experience of this type. But disruption and trying circumstances are not new to us,” Barra also said. “Especially in times like these, we demonstrate our flexibility, agility and resilience. This team always rises to the occasion and just as we have in the past, we will chart our course.”
