Buick Regal TourX Discount Totals $5,500 In April 2020

During the month of April 2020, a round of Buick Regal TourX discount offers reduces the pricing of both 2019 and 2020 TourX models by over $5,000. Additionally, the Tri-Shield brand is offering interest-free financing for both models to well-qualified buyers. Notably, it does not look like these two offers can be combined, though they are available to all buyers, unlike other recent offers.

The Incentive

Nationwide Buick Regal discount offers for the TourX during the month of April 2020 are as follows:

  • Featured Retail Offer: $5,500 consumer cash
    • Excludes base (1SV) trim level
  • Featured Finance Offer: 0 percent APR for 72 months
    • Excludes base (1SV) trim level
    • Must finance with GM Financial

Interestingly, Buick continues to exclude base 1SV models from the incentives. Shoppers should also note that the above offers will remain valid thru April 30th, 2020. Furthermore, until June 30th, 2020, General Motors is offering special vehicle discounts for first responders and healthcare workers on the frontlines of the battle against the COVID-19 coronavirus.

For reference, here are the Buick TourX models and their respective MSRPs, $925 destination freight charge included:

2019

  • TourX 1SV (Base) – $29,995
  • Preferred – $33,595
  • Essence – $35,995

2020

  • TourX 1SV (Base) – $30,295
  • Preferred – $33,895
  • Essence – $35,995

Prospective buyers should note that Buick Regal TourX discount offers for the wagon were very generous in throughout most of the 2019 calendar year. Offers during the second half of 2019 included a 16 percent markdown in September, a 20 percent markdown in November, and another 20 percent discount in December. And, more recently, Buick offered a $5,500 cashback rebate in January, and an even more generous $6,250 discount just last month.

  5. GM has not exactly had a stellar record of supporting their captive imports over the decades. Buick is a dying brand in the US. Combine these two things with the fact GM doesn’t own the factory where the car is made anymore, they’d have to come MUCH further down in price before I’d consider one. Who will support the car after the PSA contract expires? Good luck with that!
