Buick Envision Discount Totals Over $6,000 In April 2020

During the month of April 2020, a Buick Envision discount offers over $6,000 off select 2020 models. Notably, the incentive is just as generous as last month’s discount. On top of that, the Tri-Shield brand is also offering deferred payments for the first 120 days for buyers who borrow from GM financial.

Interested parties should also note that this month’s offer is on par with the 17 percent discount offered in December and slightly less than the 20 percent discount offered in November. It’s also worth noting that some rebates apply exclusively to non-GM owners and lessees, which has been problematic for loyal owners of GM products.

The Incentive

The following Buick Envision discount offers are available during the month of April 2020:

  • Featured Retail offer: $4,750 customer cash + $1,600 competitive cash allowance = $6,350 total discount
    • Excludes base 1SV models
    • Competitive cash allowance: buyers must show proof of ownership of a 2006 model year or newer non-GM vehicle at 30 days prior to the new vehicle sale.
  • Featured Finance offer: 0 percent APR for 84 months + $1,600 competitive cash allowance
    • Includes deferred payments for the first 120 days
    • Excludes base 1SV models
    • Offer for well-qualified buyers financing with GM Financial
    • Competitive cash allowance: buyers must show proof of ownership of a 2006 model year or newer non-GM vehicle at 30 days prior to the new vehicle sale.
  • Featured Lease offer: $229 monthly for 36 months
    • Offer applies to Envision FWD Preferred with MSRP of $34,695
    • Offer not valid nationwide, and was only observed in the Detroit market
    • Ultra-low mileage lease with 10,000 miles per year
    • For Current Lessees of 2015 model year or newer select GM vehicles:
      • $2,839 due at signing (after all offers)
      • $0 security deposit

For reference, here are the 2020 Buick Envision models and their respective MSRPs, $1,195 destination freight charge included:

  • Base 1SV – $33,190 (excluded from all incentives)
  • Preferred – $34,695
  • Essence – $36,995
  • Premium – $41,895
  • Premium II – $44,795

When the headlining Buick Envision discount is applied to an Envision Essence model with standard equipment, the price falls to $30,645, making it more affordable than a base Envision 1SV model.

About Buick Envision

The Buick Envision is a compact crossover that slots above the subcompact Buick Encore and below the full-size Buick Enclave. The current, first-generation Envision was introduced for the 2016 model year. The vehicle is based on a variant of the GM D2 platform shared with the second-generation GMC Terrain, Chevrolet Cruze, and Chevrolet Volt.

The Envision launched with a relatively steep starting price of $42,995 in 2016, since it was available only in the two highest trim levels and with the most potent turbo 2.0L LTG engine. The 2017 model introduced several lower-end trim levels, enabling the starting price to drop to $34,990. The 2018 model goes unchanged from the 2017 model.

The 2019 Envision received a midcycle refresh that includes a significant amount of changes, including new headlights and front grille, the new GM 9-speed automatic transmission on Premium models, new exterior colors and interior color combinations, reconfiguring the exhaust pipe on non-Premium models to be turned under the vehicle, new taillights, new wheel choices, the replacement of Ice Blue ambient lighting with White, and the addition of three new technologies -  an ionizing air cleaner, Tire Fill Alert, and wireless cell phone charging. There's also the removal of the Buick script from the rear of the vehicle.

The 2020 Envision will receive two new exterior colors, at the expense of two existing ones.

The Buick Envision is built exclusively at the GM Dong Yue factory operated by GM China and SAIC for global markets

  1. YOU GM wizards make this vehicle in China and IMPORT it to the USA. The SAME China where this devastating pandemic started and then promptly COVERED IT UP from the rest of the world as to the severity & highly contagious aspects of COVID19 by manipulating the World Health Organization (WHO). The SAME China that continued to allow their citizens to travel to Italy, Iran, USA and worldwide spreading this disease worldwide for 2 months before the world shut it down. The SAME China that is NOW telling it’s citizens that the virus started in the USA and it’s OUR fault. The SAME China that steals OUR intellectual property by any means available including putting their “Students” in OUR advanced University Research Programs. The SAME China that has practiced unfair self enriching trade policy for DECADES. The SAME China that ignores worldwide sanctions against the terrorist Mullahs in Iran and the pipsqueak launching dangerous missiles in North Korea.

AND you want us to buy this vehicle GM. You really are a ship of clueless fools in that ugly Ivory Tower in Detroit. #BoycottChina NOW!!
