  1. Is this car FINALLY on sale yet? This and mid-size, CTS-replacing CT5 had a disastrous launch that took far too long. And Cimarron was the first C-segment (or compact in America, which is where we are, not Europe), CT4 is a warmed-over, facelifted ATS sedan, which competes against Lexus IS, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, BMW 3-Series, etc. Not sure why you guys CONTINUE to insist otherwise. I hope CT4 is successful, but who knows…nice color selection though and always liked the ATS, I mean CT4 lines…except for no more V-6 and that odd rear end.

    2. We all know its basically an ATS. GM decides which segment this car competes in. GMA only reports on it.

  2. This car looks good from every angle, except the rear.

    1. I kinda like the rear. It’s distinctive. As a whole, I prefer the design of the CT4 to the CT5.

      1. I agree with your comment on the ct4 looking better than the ct5.

  3. To correctly identify this car, it needs to be referred to as the “First Ever CT4”. At Cadillac, everything is always the “First Ever” because they keep changing the designations.

As far as the colors go, Cadillac has adopted the worst elements from BMW with only black and white paint included in the list price and everything else being extra cost. That and the same set-up where all BMW interiors are black except they do offer different color leathers for the seats and door trim but the carpets, dash, console, etc. will still always be black.

    1. They ought to be using “The Last Ever!” as the CT4/5 names are likely to change once they phase out Alpha and or change the names. No mention of what happens to Alpha after this run but I imagine it goes away? That said, “The last ever CT6, the last ever ELR, The last ever XLR, The last ever Allante…. they enter, fail, then exit…

  4. I’ll keep my XTS. CT5 and CT6 are too low to the ground and ride like a cheap truck.

  5. Nice palette of colors even most are extra cost. Now if GM could offer at least some of them on other GM vehicles……

  6. G M you are just getting worst at gouging your customers. You must think people are plain stupid! You are going to charge extra for plain red Victory red yes the vary same color at least by name that was used in 2005 on Corvette and that everyone hated so you changed it back to Torch Red shortly after all the complaints! Then you used it shortly after on the Silverado LOL. I love bright red I currently have 2019 Vette G S, a 2019 Buick Regal Sport Back G S in Sport Red very similar to Torch Red. I am very happy that you are using Bright red on your cars again ( I see the imports are using Bright red) you should be using it on all your lines! But the nerve of you to charge extra what a money grab! P S Torch red is also on the 2020 Vette.
