The 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD represents a complete overhaul and redesign with the fourth-generation model. In addition to the many changes and updates, including the switch to GM’s T1 platform and an improved towing capacity of 35,500 pounds. GM’s stock photos just don’t look good. This truck looks so much better in the flesh. I find this to be the case with their whole truck line, too. Maybe it’s just me.
The GMC Denali HD has a nice looking front end, especially with the chrome, Duramax hood scoop.
Not just you, I feel the same not just about the trucks but all their products. I don’t know though if it’s necessarily specific to GM either though, digital renders just aren’t the same as real life. Might help if they didn’t render it inside a white room
This is OLD news.
The color is nice but the new design of the HD has got to be one of the ugliest trucks Chevy has ever built. I will be buying the GMC this time around.
liked the old ocean blue metallic better even though it cost an extra $400 on a silverado GMC charges extra for every color that is not white, black or fire engine red. GM needs to photoshop the colors ocean blue in person is not even close to the picture
Flint Assembly is the ONLY plant that builds Chevy and GMC Heavy Duty trucks.
Did that change with the new generation? Ft Wayne used to to build 1500/2500/3500 SRW and DRW for the last generation. Haven’t been back since
The Ft. Wayne, IN. plant builds only the 1500 Chevy Silverado, and GMC Sierra pickup trucks.
Now if they could do something about the God awful front end….
I hope they’ve done something about seat colors. I’ve considered buying 2019 but for someone who actually wants to buy a truck to work with I’m totally turned off with almost white seats. Not for men with grease on their pants and dirt on their hands! What in the world was GM thinking? Designed by men who sit behind desks and don’t get their hands dirty. Black ought to be standard color in WT line. Can’t help think of all the sales they lost.
If you care about your truck you can get seat covers or vinyl for W/T models. for the occasions that I am dirty I keep large towels I think they call them sheet towels under the seats.
after 3 SILVERADO since 2011, i’m quite sure my next one this year wont be SHEVROLET any more.
so ugly front , i cant think someone got salary for “developing ” such a front.
sorry friends , maybe the next one. not this year.
