The 2020 Chevrolet Camaro has officially arrived at dealerships in the Middle East. It will be available in 1LT, 3LT and 2SS trims in the Middle East. Middle Eastern buyers will also have access to the 2020 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, which produces 650 horsepower from its supercharged 6.2L LT4 V8 engine.
GM’s 3.6L LGX V6 engine will be the only engine available in the 1LT and 3LT trims in the region. The LGX V6 is good for 335 horsepower and 285 pound-feet of torque. Standard equipment on Middle East-market Camaro 1LTs will include an eight-speed automatic transmission, four-piston front Brembo brakes and the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus system.
Just like in North America, the Camaro 2SS in the Middle East comes with GM’s 6.2L LT1 V8 engine, which is good for 455 horsepower and 455 pound-feet of torque. Standard equipment on 2SS models includes a six-speed manual transmission as well as four-piston front and rear Brembo brakes.
“Camaro is one of the most recognizable muscle cars on the road today, earning new fans for generations. But, while Camaro may be a stunning car, its design isn’t just for beauty but for performance too, a mantra followed by every Chevrolet Camaro designer,” said Chevrolet Middle East brand boss, Farah Amhaz. “The perfect balance of bold design and exceptional driving experience have cemented the Camaro’s well-deserved place in the performance car hall of fame and the 2020 Camaro is no exception.”
The 2020 Chevrolet Camaro and Camaro ZL1 is now available to order from Chevrolet showrooms across the Middle East.
