Even though the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 is grabbing the lion’s share of attention these days, shrewd buyers should also consider the previous front-engine C7 generation. Some dealers still have brand-new examples of this amazing sports car left on the lot, and have tagged them with serious discounts, as evidenced by this 2017 Stingray Coupe Z51 3LT for sale in Utah.
This Chevrolet Corvette grabs our attention thanks to its Arctic White finish and black accents, with the hood, roof, and complementary black bits offsetting the bright white body panels. There’s also a chrome badge package and shiny 19-inch wheels, all of which makes for a rather head-turning aesthetic.
Inside, this Chevrolet Corvette is covered in Jet Black leather, with infotainment offerings including a Head-Up Display, 10-speaker Bose stereo, and eight-inch diagonal touchscreen. Heated and ventilated seats keep it comfy, while the three-spoke, leather-wrapped, flat-bottom steering wheel provides the right touch point.
Under the hood, this Chevrolet Corvette is packing 460 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque thanks to the naturally aspirated 6.2L LT1 V8. With the optional Z51 package equipped, the performance exhaust out back makes the good noises, while Magnetic Selective Ride Control and Performance Traction Management keeps it all shiny side up. Routing the muscle rearwards is an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifting.
Now, this new 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe Z51 3LT is offered by High Country Auto Center in Richfield, Utah, for $59,933. That’s a whopping $23,452 off the original MSRP of $83,385. What’s more, this brand-new C7 may be one of the last front-engine Vettes offered as new from the dealer, making it all the more enticing.

I would imagine that you’re going to have a lot of cars like this in this section with the way the factory keeps pumping out cars and sending them to the dealers that have no room to store them! I don’t know how these dealers are going to stay in business having to finance all those hundreds of cars on their lots! They’re not selling them as fast as they’re coming in. Dealers here in Connecticut are buying extra lots or building new dealerships taking over gigantic pieces of land in order to store all these cars. It’s not any one particular brand of car either it’s every brand. Even Carmax doesn’t know where to put the cars next. I guess time will tell what’s going to happen with all these unsold cars there are depreciating the longer they sit on the dealers’ lots.🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
They should price these cars at KBB fair purchase price instead of there high asking retail prices and they would move.s
I am not a fan of the new Corvette I would much rather have the 2017 Corvette!
This is the sort of thing that is pushing the price of every older vette down down down. People don’t want to believe that the resale price of their beloved vette in the driveway has just dropped, again. There are thousands for sale and prices are dropping. Good time to buy a used vette?
They should have been aggressive and moved it along time ago If you really want it go for it but be aware it is a 17 and depreciated drive it off the lot and something catastrophic happens to it you will be disappointed on what an insurance company will pat you
There’s a bunch of them at Estero Bay Chevrolet in Estero, FL
If you look at their inventory it looks like it’s a really small dealer.
Its new, but its a little pricey. If you shop around you can probably get a low mile manual for around that, maybe even a Grand Sport.
My ass belongs in a C8. However, I’m content with my Terrain. More room for better half and dog.
It’s white-enough said! Mine ’17 is Sterling Blue. 3LT is overkill-2LT is the sweet spot. That year, there was a dark gray that offered a maroon interior which was a great combo.
Eight speed, JUNK, might be ok, but DOUBTFUL!!
Is this corvette still available. We are looking for a white one. 2014 or newer. The cost range we’re looking for is $50K or less if possible
