GM Dividend Declared For First Quarter 2020

General Motors has declared a first quarter 2020 dividend of 38 cents per share on the company’s outstanding shares of common stock.

The GM dividend is payable Friday, March 20th, 2020 to all common stockholders of record at the close of business on Friday, March 6th, 2020.

General Motors is set to announce its fourth quarter and full year 2019 financial results and 2020 guidance on Wednesday, February 5th, 2020.

The results are expected to provide exact details on last year’s UAW strike, which lasted 40 days and disrupted GM’s production in North America and elsewhere. The strike did not impact GM’s operations and financial performance much during the third quarter of 2019. Instead, the walkout is expected to have a not-insignificant impact on GM’s Q4 2019 earnings, estimated to be roughly $1 billion USD.
