A new giveaway contest hosted by Dream Giveaway offers Chevrolet fans the opportunity to win both a 2020 Corvette Stingray and a 1962 Corvette Roadster as part of a package deal.
The 2020 Corvette Dream Giveaway winner will receive a Torch Red Corvette Stingray in the range-topping 3LT trim and with the Z51 performance package. The car features the stock 6.2-liter LT2 V8 engine, good for 495 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque, along with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
In addition, they will also receive a fully restored 1962 Corvette roadster. The car rides on an Art Morrison chassis and features C6 Corvette suspension, an electrically-operated hood with a ZR1-style Plexiglas insert, Magnaflow dual exhaust and other modern performance parts. The centerpiece of the car, though, is the GM Connect 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine, which has been topped off with a Holley Sniper EFI induction system and is mated to a GM 4L65-E four-speed automatic transmission.
Proceeds from the giveaway will benefit New Beginning Children’s Homes, which is a self-described provider of “family-style long-term residential care with a mission to provide foster children a safe and faith-centered family atmosphere where they can heal, grow, and be loved while working through difficult life issues.” The Dream Giveaway will also pay the $45,000 in taxes required to take delivery of both vehicles, so the winner won’t be left on the hook.
Dream Gibeaway is already selling sweepstakes tickets for the 2020 Corvette Dream Giveaway. A single ticket costs $3.00 USD, but it will double the number of entries for any donation above $25. For example, if you spend $25, for 20 tickets/entries, you’ll actually receive 40. This applies no matter how many tickets are bought, so if you want to win, you may want to put at least that much down.
