Chevrolet Express Discount Offers Cash Or 0 Percent Financing In February 2020

The Bow Tie brand appears to have maintained its seemingly regular $3,500 Chevrolet Express discount on select models in February 2020. It’s worth pointing out that Chevy is also offering interest-free financing for select Express models, which may be a first.

Notably, a similar cashback offer has been available throughout most of the year, including October, May, and February.

Incentives

Nationwide Chevrolet Express discount offers during January 2020 are as follows:

  • 2019/2020 Express Purchase Offer: $3,500 Customer Cash
  • 2019/2020 Express Finance Offer: 0 percent APR for 72 months when borrowing from GM Financial

To clarify, the above Chevrolet Express discount offers are applicable to all 2019 and 2020 models, including Passenger and Cargo variants, in both 2500 and 3500 forms.

For reference, here are the 2020 Express trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs, destination freight charge included:

  • Passenger:
    • LS – $36,195
    • LT – $38,295
  • Cargo:
    • Work Van – $33,295

The $3,500 Chevrolet discount as it applies to a 2019 Express Passenger LT model with an MSRP of $36,195 reduces the starting price of said model to just $32,695, which is more affordable than a regularly priced 2019 Express Cargo Work Van model.

About Chevrolet Express

The Chevrolet Express is a line of full-size vans offered in cargo, passenger, and cutaway configurations. It slots above the Chevrolet City Express compact van, which was sourced from Nissan but has been discontinued after the 2018 model year.

The first-generation Express ran from the 1996-2002 model years and was based on the GMT 600 platform. In 2003, an updated model was launched on what is known as the GMT 610 platform. This updated model remains on sale today, albeit the range has undergone a few updates to powertrain and minor styling changes. The Express also has a GMC-badged twin - the GMC Savana.

It is currently unclear whether or when General Motors will overhaul the Express, which is showing its age. The 2019 model year will represent its 17th year on the market.

Sold primarily to fleet customers, the Chevrolet Express is built primarily at the GM Wentzville factory in Missouri operated by GM USA. In early 2017, Navistar began contract assembly of the Express cutaway in its factory in Springfield, Ohio, as part of GM's plan to boost the model's production and supply.
