Chevrolet Brazil sales increased 10 percent to 475,684 units during the complete 2019 calendar year. The performance enables GM to continue as Brazil’s best-selling automaker and Chevrolet to continue as the country’s best-selling automobile brand.
In addition, 2019 representing Chevrolet’s highest sales volume in Brazil over the last four years, with the performance propelling the Brazilian market to be one of Chevrolet’s most important around the world.
GM’s headline-making performance in Brazil is mostly a result of the ongoing commercial success of the Chevrolet Onix, which set a new sales record in the country, delivering its best annual result since its introduction at the end of 2012. The arrival of the all-new second generation model boosted Onix sales by 27.37 percent compared to already-high levels in 2018, reaching a total 268,066 units sold during the 2019 calendar year.

Individual model sales performance was as follows:
- Chevrolet Bolt EV sales totaled 7 unit
- Chevrolet Camaro sales increase 63.44 percent to 152 units
- Chevrolet Cobalt sales decreased 39.02 percent to 13,103 units
- Chevrolet Cruze sales decreased 8.73 percent to 23,149 units
- Chevrolet Equinox sales decreased 9.02 percent to 4,630 units
- Chevrolet Montana sales decreased 4.44 percent to 12,524 units
- Chevrolet Onix sales increased 27.37 percent to 268,066 units
- Onix hatchback sales totaled 241.214 units
- Onix Plus sedan sales totaled 26.852 units
- Chevrolet Prisma sales increased 2.77 percent to 73,721 units
- Chevrolet S10 sales increased 1.26 percent to 32,161 units
- Chevrolet Spin sales increased 12.58 percent to 28,361 units
- Chevrolet Tracker sales decreased 37.42 percent to 16,333 units
- Chevrolet Trailblazer sales decreased 12.8 percent to 3,360 units
