The Cadillac CTS-V is the sort of vehicle that makes you feel like a little kid. With aggressive styling and some heavy artillery under the hood, it’s hard not to want one. Now, CTS-V fans can get their speed fix without dropping big coin by picking up the wild new Cadillac CTS-V RC car from Traxxas, which is featured in the following two-minute video.
Although it might look like a toy, this thing seriously rips. Based on Traxxas’ 4-Tec 2.0 AWD chassis, the Cadillac CTS-V RC car can hit 70 mph with the top brushless electric motor setup. In fact, it’s got so much power, this thing will easily perform burnouts, donuts, and even drifting.
So it’s quick, that much is obvious. Not only that, this RC car also looks very close to the passenger car after which it’s styled. Offered as an official General Motors licensed product, the Traxxas Cadillac CTS-V RC car has the same V-Series touches as the actual super sedan, down to the plus-sized front brake calipers.
Interested buyers can get the body finished in either blue or silver, while a selection of wheels and tire compounds are also on offer. What’s more, if the full-fat, 70-mph setup isn’t needed, there’s also a mellower brushed electric motor setup that’ll top out at 30 mph.
This thing looks like it’s an absolute blast to drive, and can be seen tearing it up around a park in the video below. Check it out:
For reference, the “real” Cadillac CTS-V is equipped with the supercharged 6.2L Small Block LT4 V8, which doles out a heady 640 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque. Output is sent through an eight-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels.

I have this funny feeling, as a way of celebrating the day of love and friendship, I may indulge in one to keep the child alive in me…
