While off-roader upgrades for the Chevy Colorado are plentiful and widespread (did someone say ZR2 Bison?), what about those who prefer the urban jungle? Well, if it’s street style you’re after, then the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado RST can deliver, as evidenced by the following GM Authority Live Photo Gallery.
Captured on the show floor at the 2020 Chicago Auto Show, this 2020 Chevrolet Colorado RST is covered in Summit White paint, which is offset by a number of black trim bits and styling upgrades.
Up front, this pickup makes its presence known with a bold Chevrolet lettered front fascia and grille, ditching the polished chrome seen elsewhere in the lineup.
The black front end is complemented by Black bodyside moldings and belt line moldings, while in the corners, the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado RST Special Edition rolls on 20-inch Low Gloss Black-painted aluminum wheels fitted with 255/55R20 all-season tires. Body-colored door handles sit just below the windows, while RST badging in the doors proclaim the truck’s special status.
In back, we find a Black Colorado nameplate, plus a Black rear Bow Tie badge as well. The bed gets a spray-on bedliner, too.
Note that this is the 2020 model year Colorado, rather than the slightly updated 2021 model year. Nevertheless, the truck looks quite good all the same.
The Chevrolet Colorado RST Special Edition is offered as a package for the LT trim level. Buyers can get it with either the 3.6L LGZ V6 mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, or the diesel 2.8L LWN inline four-cylinder mated to a six-speed automatic. The package is not offered with the 2.5L LCV inline four-cylinder. Pricing for the package is set at $2,995.

I just sat in this truck this weekend. Nice two tone gray interior. $38,000.
The wheels are just a Canyon Denali wheels in black. They look good and fill the wheel wells nicely.
If given a good deal on this it old be a good buy. Just not at sticker price.
The spelled out “CHEVROLET” grill looks more off-road then sporty on-road. This seems more like a black trim package; doesn’t have the same feel as Tahoe and Silverado RST. That said, it looks good in a vacuum.
Just purchased a red one on Monday. I’m very happy with everything on this vehicle. Have some mod’s in mind at a future time.
I also bought the Red RST, great truck power, handling, performance and nice look. Tinted the windows, added a bac flip and chevy floor pans.
Winning combo
I’m very disappointed that Chevrolet dropped the RST package in 2021. Also dropping the bright red from the color choices.
I bought this truck in June and love it but I would the step bars that are on this one in the pics. They look good and cover up the the pinch weld. Does anyone know which ones they are?
