  1. The Encore GX looks great . Can’t wait to see it at the dealerships. This SUV could be exactly what I’m looking for .

  2. I like the look of this Buick. Unfortunately Buick once again charges extra for colors other than Summit White.
It is not the $400 or so it is that color of a vehicle was once a given. Perhaps the only questions I have is why the Cvt and do the various engines have that ridiculous stop/go feature? I am looking towards purchasing a certified vehicle within the next few years. I have been considering a Buick Encore off lease. I was glad to read that are very dependable. Hopefully the
Encore GX will be the same. I wonder if the introduction will cut into sales of the current Encore?

    1. Yes, they do have a stop/start function, however you can turn it off by a press of a button.

  3. In typical GM fashion, the top trim is priced way too high and doesn’t even come loaded. A fully optioned Essence AWD is over $36k, which is comically high.

  4. nice looking vehicle. much better than the jelly bean/egg shape of its brethren.

but the extra $ for paint(other than white) is a kick to the nuts. and the power train is a joke for a high $20s/low $30s vehicle.

just like almost every other gm vehicle, msrp is too high and the informed consumer who doesn’t mind a 3 cylinder engine will wait until they start throwing cash on the hood.

  5. This car looks very much like an Opel. The longitudinal crease in the middle of the hood which extends down until below the grille. The grille itself, too. And the horizontal line above the grille.

Has it been designed in Rüsselsheim of Bupeyong?

I wonder how Opel’s own successor to the Opel Mokka, now being developed on a PSA platform, will look like.

Will the until recently common Buick/Opel design line diverge, and how?
