For the month of January 2020, a new GMC Sierra 1500 rebate reduces the price of select 2020 pickup trucks by as much as $8,500. Meanwhile, a second offer reduces the price of select 2019 models by up to $9,000. Interestingly, the automaker is offering interest-free financing for both 2019 and 2020 models.
It’s worth noting that the offers are not nearly as generous as the 20 percent discount offered last month and in November.
The Incentives
Nationwide GMC Sierra 1500 rebate offers during the month of January 2020 are as follows:
- 2019 Sierra 1500 Retail Offer: up to $9,000 total discount
- 2019 Sierra 1500 Finance Offer: 0 percent APR for 72 months + $500 cash when financing with GM Financial
- 2020 Sierra 1500 Retail Offer: up to $8,500 total discount
- 2020 Sierra 1500 Finance Offer : 0 percent APR for 72 months + $750 GM loyalty allowance when financing with GM Financial
- Buyer must be a current owner/lessee of a 2006MY or newer GM vehicle for at least 30 days prior to the new vehicle sale.
It’s worth highlighting the fact that cash rebates seem to vary by cab configuration, trim level and powertrain. As a matter of fact, the biggest rebates are applied to models equipped with the turbocharged 2.7-litre L3B four-cylinder engine. With that observation, we highly recommend visiting your preferred dealer for more details on the finance and retail incentives available this month.
Interested parties should know that all of the aforementioned GMC Sierra 1500 rebate offers are valid through February 3rd, 2020.

Comments
Unfortunately in my area, these kinds of deals only applies to two wheel drive trucks in very specific trims. Basically the kind that the older crowd drive.
Still a solid deal if you aren’t too picky.
That is funny though, in your area, i’m not saying I do not agree with you.
In my area, there is not ONE two wheel drive vehicle on the lot !
Only two wheeled vehicles here are like the Colorado parts runners, Fleet machines.
These deals are generally not as good as they appear. They often are limited to specific packages and often limited to specific buyers of competitor trucks or like in this case 2016 or newer. They really limit the people qualified.
They also do offer more off on the old models like the 2019 but the models selections are often limited as you seldom can find exactly what you want unless you get lucky. Generally you may have to compromise some where to get the deal.
Like I have said before C8.R.
Our local 2 dealers have $9,500.00 off 2019s and $12,000 off 2020,s, and just about anything you want !
You are just quoting the GM canned GM rebate here, When GM ” sells ” these vehicles to the ” independently owned ” dealers, the dealers can add anything they see fit, to the deal, to sell ” their ” vehicles !!
The dealer needs to cash flow, just as GM does. Neither is going to let these vehicles sit, the value to the banker drops every day, GM’s banker, as well as the dealers banker, and they are the same banker at times ( get that one )
Its a give and take marketing game of ” whos the better liar “. Watch the trucks, come and go, almost in the dead of night in the back allies, as to shuffle the GM trucks to parts of the country to sell !!
That way GM doesn’t have to appear to be discounting their ” all new ” Silverado to be able to sell them.
Put some camo stickers on then, put come Harley stickers on them, put some Carhart stickers on them, anything to try to make this truck sell, as you try to stop the bleeding and cross your fingers some other brand fails larger than you !
Now I am not saying GM will not move up again with the Silverado, I am saying, I do not thing it will be with this Silverado !!
I think GM is getting the drift here, stop being so, so, so, darn cheap !
But again, we will see !
I got as far as “Like I have said before C8.R.”
Next time I’ll start with just C8.R, that way you won’t even have to take the time to read that far !
Glad you took the time to comment back though !
You truly are a hoot !
Have a good day, stay warm out there !
Watching the two of you go back and forth is awesome.
Learning anything ?
Its great isn’t it !
We have three local dealers here where they are offering anywhere from $14,000-$15,500 off MSRP. It’s awesome.
James where are you located?
