To ring in the new year, a new GMC Acadia discount offers interest-free financing plus a cash rebate for most 2019 models. Meanwhile, a separate offer drops the price of select 2019 models by as much as $4,000. In both cases, the buyer must be a current GM owner in order to qualify for the entire cashback offer.
On another note, both offers are very conservative when compared to last month’s 18 percent discount. To clarify, there are still no incentives being offered for the all-new 2020 Acadia model during the month of January 2020.
The nationwide GMC Acadia discount offers for January 2020 are as follows:
- Retail Offer: $3,250 customer cash + $750 GM loyalty cash = $4,000 total cash allowance
- Loyalty cash – to qualify, buyer must show proof of ownership of a 2006 model year or newer select GM vehicle at least 30 days prior to the new vehicle sale.
- Finance Offer: 0 percent APR for 72 months + $1,000 purchase allowance for current GM owners who finance with GM Financial
- Current GM Owner – to qualify, buyer must show proof of ownership of a 2006 model year or newer select GM vehicle at least 30 days prior to the new vehicle sale.
- Excludes base SL trim level
Interested parties should note that the above discount for the premium crossover SUV will run through February 3rd, 2020.
The fact that certain incentives are exclusively available to current GM owners and lessees should be welcome news for disgruntled loyal owners, especially since a similar discount was previously exclusive to current competitive owners.
For reference, here are the applicable 2019 Acadia trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs, destination freight charge included:
- SLE-1 – $33,995
- SLE-2 – $36,395
- SLT-1 – $39,195
- SLT-2 – $43,095
- Denali – $46,695
Note that the discount does not apply to the 2020 GMC Acadia, which was recently refreshed.
- Must take delivery by February 3rd, 2020.
- See dealer for details.
- Incentive for the United States of America, unless otherwise specified.
- Some customers may not qualify for this offer.
- Offer not available with special finance, lease, and some other offers.

About GMC Acadia
The GMC Acadia is a mid-size crossover utility vehicle (CUV). It is the largest GMC crossover currently offered, slotting above the compact GMC Terrain.
The current model was introduced for the 2017 model year and represents the second generation of the Acadia nameplate. It rides on the GM C1 platform shared with the Cadillac XT5. It is expected that the upcoming, future Chevrolet Blazer will ride on the same platform. Meanwhile, the second-generation Chevrolet Traverse and Buick Enclave use a longer-wheelbase variant of the same architecture.
Compared to its first-generation predecessor, the second-gen Acadia is an all-new vehicle that is one size segment smaller, while also being sleeker, more modern, more tech-laden and much lighter. Despite its smaller size, the second-gen Acadia manages to retain three rows of seating and generous cargo space.
For the 2018 model year, the Acadia got a new color, automatic heated steering wheel in place of the manual heated steering wheel, Tire Fill Alert, some new wheels on the SLT-1 All Terrain model, as well as broader availability of the 3.6L V-6 engine and All-Terrain package.
For the 2019 model year, the Acadia receives several new colors, Express Up and Down window controls for the driver's-side controls as standard on the SLE-2 and SLT-1 trims, the expanded availability of the Ebony interior color with the All-Terrain package on the SLT trim level and the introduction of the Acadia Black Edition.
A midcycle refresh arrives for the 2020 model year that delivers updated styling, the new GM 9-speed automatic transmission, a new turbo-charged 2.0L I-4 LSY engine, a new AT4 model that replaces the Acadia All Terrain, interior updates, and various other improvements.
