Chevrolet Tahoe Discount Cuts Price By Up To $4,000 In January 2020

Chevrolet Tahoe discount offers were quite generous throughout most of the 2019 calendar year. Such offers include November’s 14 percent discount and the 11 percent discount in March. Offers during the month of January 2020 offer are more conservative compared the aforementioned incentives. In fact, $4,000 is the most a Tahoe buyer can expect to save this month, at least when relying on nationwide, manufacturer incentives.

Incentives

The nationwide Chevrolet Tahoe discount offer in January is as follows:

  • Retail Offer: $3,000 cash allowance + $1,000 bonus earnings = $4,000 total discount
    • Must be a GM Cardmember as of 1/2/2020. Bonus Earnings expire 3/2/2020 and can be used on the purchase or lease of a new eligible 2020 or 2019 GM vehicle.

We should highlight the fact that Chevy does not appear to exclude any 2020 Tahoe model from the headlining discount offer.

Interested shoppers should note that the $3,000 cash allowance included in the aforementioned Chevrolet Tahoe discount offer will be available through February 3rd, 2020.

For reference, here are the applicable 2020 Tahoe trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs, $1,295 destination freight charge included:

  • LS (1LS) – $50,295
  • LT (1LT) – $55,095
  • Premier (1LZ) – $63,995

The GM Authority Take

The 2020 model year will be the last for the current-generation Tahoe, since an all-new, next-generation Tahoe will arrive for the 2021 model year (see more on 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe). As such, we believe that recent Chevrolet Tahoe discount offers are intended to incentivize current GM owners to purchase the current Tahoe, rather than waiting for the next-generation model or switching to a more modern offering from Ford (Ford Expedition) or Nissan (Nissan Armada).

Disclaimers
