Chevrolet Blazer Discount Reaches $4,290 In January 2020

For the month of January 2020, a new Chevrolet Blazer discount reduces the cost of select models by over $4,000. While the offer isn’t necessarily insignificant, it is a bit less lucrative than last month’s offer, which extended employee discount pricing to all buyers, which equated to over $5,000 off select 2019 Blazer models.

December’s offer was actually the largest incentive offer so far for the all-new Blazer, making this month’s offer the second-largest.

Up until now, Chevrolet Blazer discount offers at the retail level have been relatively conservative compared to other vehicles in the lineup. The first incentive Chevy rolled out for the crossover SUV was a $2,000 discount back in April. The Bow Tie brand has since increased its offerings for the Blazer, including the $2,750 discount in September.

Nationwide Chevrolet Blazer discount offers in January 2020 are as follows:

Retail Offer: $4,290 Below MSRP for 2019 Blazer RS models
Finance Offer: 0-percent APR for 60 months for well-qualified buyers who finance thru GM Financial

It’s worth mentioning that Chevy is also extending special “Ultra Low Mileage” lease offers to qualifying lessees for select 2020 models. However, the 2020 models are not being incentivized with discounts or financing offers (yet).

The ChevroletÂ BlazerÂ is a mid-size crossover utility vehicle (CUV). It is currently Chevrolet's second-biggest CUV, slotting between the compact Chevrolet Equinox and full-sizeÂ Chevrolet Traverse. The current model was introduced for theÂ 2019 model year and represents theÂ fifth generation of theÂ Blazer nameplate, which dates back to 1969. The model rides on the regular-wheelbaseÂ variant of theÂ GM C1 platformÂ shared most directly with the second-gen GMC Acadia and first-gen Cadillac XT5. The 2019 Blazer range consists ofÂ four trim levels,Â including the base L, threeÂ mid-tier Blazer trim levels (consisting of three LT trims), the sporty Blazer RS and the range-topping Blazer Premier trim.Â New technology offered on the 2019 Blazer includesÂ capless fuel fill,Â HID headlights, LED daytime running lights, and a Cargo Management System.Â

Under the hood are two engine options: the base 2.5L I4 LCV and the optional 3.6L V6 LGX. Both motors are mated to the GM 9-speed automatic transmission. Pricing starts at the $29,995.
