This month marks the first Buick Enclave discount offer for the refreshed 2020 models. Buyers can opt between a cashback rebate or a special-financing offer. It’s worth noting that the headlining discount offer is significantly less generous than recent offers, including November’s 20 percent discount, which was the largest incentive offered for the nameplate during the 2019 calendar year. However, such offers were only available for the previous model year – not the updated 2020 Enclave models.
Incentives
The nationwide Buick Enclave discount offers during the month of January 2020 are as follows:
- Finance Offer: 0 percent APR for 72 months for all 2020 Enclave models
- Retail Offer: $3,500 Consumer Cash for all 2020 Enclave models
Interested parties should note that the above Buck Enclave discount offers will run through February 3rd, 2020. Additionally, the above offers are available to all buyers, and unlike recent offers, they are not restricted to current eligible non-GM owners. Loyal GM owners have found such discounts to be problematic in the past.
This Buick Enclave discount is applicable to all 2020 models. For reference, here are the 2020 Buick Enclave MSRPs by trim level, destination freight charge included:
- Preferred FWD (1SD) – $41,195
- Essence FWD (1SL) – $43,195
- Essence AWD (1SL) – $45,195
- Premium FWD (1SN) – $49,595
- Premium AWD (1SN) – $51,995
- Avenir FWD (1SP) – $54,995
- Avenir AWD (1SP) – $57,295

About Buick Enclave
The Buick Enclave is a premium full-size crossover utility vehicle (CUV). It is the biggest Buick crossover currently offered, slotting above the subcompact Buick Encore and compact Buick Envision.
The first generation Enclave was introduced for the 2009 model year to replace the Buick Rendezvous. It rode on the GM Lambda platform and was discontinued in 2017. The current, second-generation model was introduced for the 2018 model year. It rides on the extended-length GM C1 platform shared with the second-generation Chevrolet Traverse. A shorter variant of the same platform underpins the second-gen GMC Acadia and Cadillac XT5.
For the 2019 model year, the Enclave receives a new FWD Preferred (1SD) equipment group, the addition of the automatic function for the heated steering wheel and front row heated seats, as well as a new Ebony with Ebony interior accents interior.
Compared to its first-generation predecessor, the second-gen Enclave is an all-new vehicle that is larger, lighter, sleeker and more modern. It also introduces new trim levels, including the range-topping Enclave Avenir.
The Buick Enclave is built at the GM Delta Lansing Township factory in Michigan operated by GM USA. It is currently the only plant that builds the vehicle alongside the second-gen Chevy Traverse.

Comment
Just a small correction: We build the Enclave and Traverse at the Lansing Delta Township plant, not the Delta Lansing Township plant. Lansing has both a Lansing Township and a Delta Township as neighbors. If that’s not confusing enough, although we are located in Delta Township, the agreement was made that the City of Lansing would annex us as part of a tax deal, even though we are located around 3 to 4 miles west of Lansing.
