2020 Chevrolet Blazer Gets New Midnight Blue Metallic Color: First Look

The 2020 Chevrolet Blazer features various minor changes and updates, such as a new Redline Edition and an optional turbo 2.0L LSY four-cylinder engine, but also the addition of three new exterior colors: Iridescent Pearl Tricoat as well as Bright Blue Metallic and Midnight Blue Metallic. Here’s our first look at the new, dark blue hue.
Availability
Assigned color code GLU and touch-up paint code WA-328E, Midnight Blue Metallic is one of two blue hues available for the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer. It’s also one of seven metallic colors available for Chevy’s crossover SUV.
The new Midnight Blue Metallic color is included in the base price of the 2020 Blazer. In addition, the new blue hue is not offered on the base L model, but can be matched with all the interior color combinations.

It’s worth noting that the addition of the Midnight Blue Metallic hue is a common theme for the 2020 model year, as several Chevrolet vehicles have adopted the color – including the 2020 Traverse as well as the 2020 Equinox (see the Equinox in Midnight Blue Metallic).
Launch Timeframe
As of this writing, 2020 Blazer units have already started to arrive at dealers, as the GM Ramos Arizpe plant, located in the state of Coahuila, Mexico has been producing the vehicle for a couple of months. As such, Chevrolet Blazer models in the Midnight Blue Metallic exterior color are on dealer lots. Availability will vary by dealer, so check with yours for complete details.
