Rocky Ridge Chevrolet Colorado K2 Package Adds A Lift Kit, Skid Plates And More

Rocky Ridge Trucks is a well-known custom truck builder based in Franklin Springs, GA, that has gained a reputation for its custom full-size trucks, which can even be ordered from dealerships in the United States. The company expanded its operations to include smaller mid-size trucks, as well, putting together an upgrade package for the Chevrolet Colorado dubbed the K2.

The Chevrolet Colorado K2 package includes a six-inch lift, heavy duty steering knuckles, underbody skid plates, aftermarket struts, front and rear crossmembers and 18-inch wheels wrapped in 32-inch Mickey Thompson AZT P3 tires. Rocky Ridge also gives the truck a meaner exterior appearance with widened fender flares, K2 door emblems, painted body color Chevrolet Bowtie emblems, off-road side steps and black ceramic exhaust tips.

The truck pictured here includes the optional Vengeance front bumper, as well, which features a 20-inch LED light bar, along with an optional Vengeance rear bumper with integrated LED lights. Other options include a spray-in bedliner and matte or color fade exterior paint.

“With the lifted Colorado K2, we bring you a truck with full-sized presence and off-road capability in a slightly more compact package,” the company said in a statement. “That makes it the perfect Rocky Ridge truck whether you’re on a remote mountain trail or deep in the urban jungle.”

It’s not clear how much a Colorado with the K2 package is worth. Depending on the price, some buyers may be better off getting the production Colorado ZR2, which offers additional capability from the factory without having to turn to the aftermarket. Some users may prefer the high six-inch lift of the K2 package, however, along with the larger wheels and aggressive optional bumpers.

Check out Rocky Ridge’s website for some additional photos and info on this truck.

  4. Rocky Ridge is the Redneck Rolls Royce of Trucks here in the south, midwest and east.

These are more status trucks. Most are polished up for Saturday night. Yes they can be taken off road but they are not cheap and few spending this much will take them off road for damage.

People really going off road will buy and build their own trucks,

Rocky Ridge even is in a Kid Rock son as he tells about rolling coal.

Like the custom conversion vans of the 80’s these trucks are add on profits for GM dealers with their conversions.

These are not my thing but hey they are making money and more power to em.

Note many wheels suck today. No real originality anymore.

  8. Too bad they haven’t revised with an ATS-V twin turbo 3.6, over 460 HP 440 TQ

Or a Black Wing v8 displacing over 550 HP and torque over 630 ft lbs…. that torque is freaking killer!

    Just saying
