Welcome back to Dealer Find, our ongoing series where we scour the listings for hidden gems still left on the lot. Our latest Dealer Find is a true performance superstar – a 2018 Cadillac ATS-V sedan, a sweet little four-door performer first spotted by our sister publication, Cadillac Society.
The Cadillac ATS nameplate first hit production in 2012 and lasted until earlier this year, when the last example (a coupe model finished in Silver Ice Metallic) rolled of the Lansing Grand River production line. The ATS sedan was discontinued in 2018. That makes this 2018 Cadillac ATS-V one of the last brand-new ATS-V sedans in existence.
To help it stand out from its non-V’d brethren, the Cadillac ATS-V came equipped with the twin-turbocharged 3.6L LF4 V6 powerplant. Output from this double-boosted ‘sixer is rated at a very healthy 464 horsepower and 444 pound-feet of torque, all of which feeds the Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission with GM Active Rev Match technology.
The Cadillac ATS-V was also offered with the 8L90 eight-speed automatic transmission, but this particular example comes with the manual, making it all the more appealing for those enthusiasts craving the three-pedal connection.
Outside, we find this 2018 Cadillac ATS-V draped in Red Obsession Tintcoat paint and complemented by 18-inch alloy wheels with an After Midnight Dark Finish. Under the wheels are red Brembo brake calipers.
Meanwhile, the cabin space gets Jet Black leather upholstery and a premium 10-speaker Bose audio system. This Cadillac ATS-V also comes with a host of tech goodies courtesy of the Driver Awareness Package, which includes Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.
With just nine miles on the odometer, this 2018 Cadillac ATS-V Sedan is basically brand-new. Interested buyers will find it at McLaughlin Cadillac in Moline, Illinois. Pricing is set at $60,900, more than $12,000 off the MSRP of $72,930.
