Dealer Find: New 2018 Cadillac ATS-V Sedan For Sale

Welcome back to Dealer Find, our ongoing series where we scour the listings for hidden gems still left on the lot. Our latest Dealer Find is a true performance superstar – a 2018 Cadillac ATS-V sedan, a sweet little four-door performer first spotted by our sister publication, Cadillac Society.

The Cadillac ATS nameplate first hit production in 2012 and lasted until earlier this year, when the last example (a coupe model finished in Silver Ice Metallic) rolled of the Lansing Grand River production line. The ATS sedan was discontinued in 2018. That makes this 2018 Cadillac ATS-V one of the last brand-new ATS-V sedans in existence.

To help it stand out from its non-V’d brethren, the Cadillac ATS-V came equipped with the twin-turbocharged 3.6L LF4 V6 powerplant. Output from this double-boosted ‘sixer is rated at a very healthy 464 horsepower and 444 pound-feet of torque, all of which feeds the Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission with GM Active Rev Match technology.

The Cadillac ATS-V was also offered with the 8L90 eight-speed automatic transmission, but this particular example comes with the manual, making it all the more appealing for those enthusiasts craving the three-pedal connection.

Outside, we find this 2018 Cadillac ATS-V draped in Red Obsession Tintcoat paint and complemented by 18-inch alloy wheels with an After Midnight Dark Finish. Under the wheels are red Brembo brake calipers.

Meanwhile, the cabin space gets Jet Black leather upholstery and a premium 10-speaker Bose audio system. This Cadillac ATS-V also comes with a host of tech goodies courtesy of the Driver Awareness Package, which includes Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.

With just nine miles on the odometer, this 2018 Cadillac ATS-V Sedan is basically brand-new. Interested buyers will find it at McLaughlin Cadillac in Moline, Illinois. Pricing is set at $60,900, more than $12,000 off the MSRP of $72,930.

  1. If you purchase this vehicle for the $60,900 price and end up trading it in one month later, it will be worth $41,689 according to KBB. Better have something special planned for the $19k depreciation for one month…and of course the sales tax will be on top of that…

  2. Great looking car. So much better looking than the (whatever the heck it is) CT4 with the 5 year old Toyota Camry tail lamps. The MSRP on this car is already about $15,000 too high, so the “sale price” of nearly $61,000 is no bargain! But I’m sure someone will find a home for this ride.

  3. Pretty much all high power sedans or coupes lose tremendous value in the first few years. It doesn’t matter what brand it is. It’s just the nature of the beast. But there’s nothing like new so the premium is worth it to some people.

  4. No big deal here….my Cadillac dealer, Lindsay Cadillac in Alexandria,Va has a 2019 ATS V Coupe they haven’t been able to sell for almost a year. They also have two 2019 CT6 V’s for sale, and a 2019 Platinum. All with V8’s

What Cadillac, and GM, fail to realize, is that, once you announce a vehicle is dead, and will no longer be produced, that knocks about 30%-40% off the selling price and the dealers hafta eat that………………………

  5. Build the Escala and Ciel and put in the Blackwing V8. Put Audi and Mercedes to shame.
