Dealer Find: New 2017 Buick Enclave

Welcome back to Dealer Find, an ongoing GM Authority series where we scour the listings for hidden gems left on the dealer lot. Our latest Dealer Find comes to us from GM Authority reader Jos, who tipped us on this new 2017 Buick Enclave, located at Parkway Buick GMC in Valencia, California.

The Buick Enclave nameplate first hit the scene for the 2008 model year, with the current second-generation model introduced for the 2018 model year. That makes this 2017 Buick Enclave the final model year for the first-gen vehicles. Updates from the previous 2016 model year include a selection of aesthetic changes with regard to paint options and wheel choices.

This particular model is offered in the range-topping Premium trim level, and comes covered in Summit White Paint. Under the fenders, we find 19-inch Chrome-Clad cast aluminum wheels.

As for the mechanical details, the 3.6L LLT V6 gas engine provides motivation with upwards of 288 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. The ‘six connects to the 6T75 M7V six-speed automatic transmission, which feeds the front wheels exclusively.

Inside the cabin space, this Buick Enclave features Ebony leather upholstery with Ebony accents. A 10-speaker Bose sound system provides the tunes, while a 6.5-inch diagonal touchscreen handles infotainment duties. There’s also a leather-wrapped steering wheel with Mahogany wood accents and a heating feature, plus heated and cooled driver and front passenger seats. Safety tech includes Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning, as well as Rear Vision Camera and Side Blind Zone Alert with Cross Traffic Alert.

The original MSRP on this Buick Enclave was set at $48,550, but now, Parkway Buick GMC has it listed for $35,988, a savings of $12,562.

  1. That’s a much better body style than the current generation IMO.
