Chevrolet Silverado Z71 Sport Concept’s Graphics Will Be Offered As Accessory

Just last month, we were ogling the new Chevrolet Silverado Z71 Sport Concept, which could be found sitting pretty at the Chevrolet booth at the 2019 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Based on the Silverado 2500HD, the new Sport Concept came with a number of aesthetic upgrades to help it stand out from the crowd, and now, we’ve learned that the pickup’s graphics will be available as an accessory.

That’s the latest from Silverado marketing manager Hugh Milne, who informed us that the Chevrolet Silverado Z71 Sport Concept’s graphics will be available as an accessory via the Chevrolet Accessories catalogue.

As we saw in Vegas, the graphics are added as black decals along the front fenders, stretching back from the updated grille section and all the way into the front doors. The look comes as a nice complement to all the extra black trim bits, and definitely adds an extra splash of sportiness to the truck’s attitude overall.

The concept package is also expected to include a new grille bar, black badging, new body-colored exterior components, off-road tires, black skid plates, and more.

As we covered previously, the Chevrolet Silverado HD Z71 Sport Concept will become a full-fledged production option for the 2021 model year. If you wanna see more of this impressive pickup, make sure to check out our full live photo gallery of the Chevrolet Silverado HD Z71 Sport Concept.

Despite sharing common off-roader theme with the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Trail Boss, the Chevrolet Silverado Z71 Sport falls short of being a true heavy-duty Chevrolet Silverado Trail Boss model. Although it will offer many aesthetic nods to fun in the rough stuff, the truck won’t have the requisite mechanical upgrades needed to make it a certified Trail Boss model, namely a substantial suspension lift.
