For the month of December 2019, a Chevrolet discount drops the price of select 2019 Traverse models by more than $9,600. The offer appears to be just as worthwhile as November’s 20 percent discount, which equated to nearly $10,000 in some cases. It’s worth highlighting these offers are much more generous than the Chevrolet Traverse $5,000 discount offered in August, and the $4,000 discount offered in October.
Incentives
Nationwide Chevrolet discount offers for the 2019 Traverse SUV during the month of December 2019 are as follows:
- Cash offer: $9,609 Total Discount off MSRP
- Discounted Price: $43,481
- Finance offer: $3,250 cash + 0-percent APR for 72 months for well-qualified buyers who borrow from GM Financial

- Â $5,500 Total Cash Allowance + $4,109 Employee Discount For Everyone = $9,609 Total Discount off MSRP
As such, the discount reduces the price of the specific Traverse Premier crossover SUV to $43,481. For reference, here are the applicable 2019 Traverse trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs, destination freight charge included:

About Chevrolet Traverse
The Chevrolet Traverse is a full-size crossover utility vehicle (CUV). It is the biggest Chevrolet crossover currently offered, slotting above the subcompact Chevrolet Trax and compact Chevrolet Equinox. It will also slot above the much-rumored, future Chevrolet Blazer.
The current model was introduced for the 2018 model year and represents the second generation of the Traverse nameplate. It rides on the extended-length GM C1 platform shared with the second-generation Buick Enclave. A shorter variant of the same platform underpins the second-gen GMC Acadia, first-gen Cadillac XT5 and all-new 2019 Chevy Blazer.
Compared to its first-generation predecessor, the second-gen Traverse is an all-new vehicle that is larger, lighter, sleeker and more modern. It also introduces new trim levels, including High Country and RS - neither of which were present on the first-generation model.
The Chevrolet Traverse is built at the GM Delta Lansing Township factory in Michigan operated by GM USA. It is currently the only plant that builds the Traverse in any part of the world.

Why such a huge discount? Great vehicle with well proportioned design. Is market that competitive?
I’m not into SUVs but it’s a handsome auto?
This is a solid car. It would be a good buy at this price if only there was a way to disable the start/stop feature.
