Between models like the Hall Racing desert racer, HD Z71 Sport Concept, and 1500 Redline Concept, the Chevrolet Silverado was rather well-represented at this year’s edition of the annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Now, we’re featuring another gussied-up Silvy sporting all the right trimmings for an off-road adventure.
This particular Chevrolet Silverado was posted up at the Bulken Off-Road Design booth, and looks ready to tackle just about anything mother nature has in store. Highlights include new bumpers front to back, which come straight out of the Bulken Off-Road Design catalog. The bumpers are made from heavy-duty steel and are offered in a satin black powder finish that looks good on the Chevrolet Silverado’s black paint. The bumpers also come with a number of cutouts that make for ideal locations to mount external lighting accessories, and can be paired with Bulken Off-Road Design’s skid plate and hoop bar, if so inclined.
In the sides, we find the obligatory suspension lift and all-terrain tire package. Interestingly, this Chevrolet Silverado is also sporting some massively flared wheel arches, which are constructed from carbon fiber and remain unpainted to show off the tasty weave underneath. There’s even a new side exhaust pipe located just ahead of the rear passenger-side wheel.
In back, we get a glimpse of the Chevrolet Silverado’s new off-roader rear bumper, which includes a few external lighting elements and side step-ups as well. The bed houses a pair of spare wheels and tires, plus a jack, a pair of fuel canisters, and a fire extinguisher to boot.
Bulken Off-Road Design will no doubt return to SEMA next year, at which time we hope it’ll bring a new Chevrolet Silverado to catch our eye. Until then, make sure to subscribe to GM Authority for more Chevrolet Silverado news, Chevrolet news and around-the-clock GM news coverage.
