In a world filled to bursting with eye-melting design work, the Valarra Chevrolet Corvette C6 still manages to rise above to din. That’s really saying something, especially considering this vehicle debuted at the 2019 SEMA Show in Las Vegas – basically ground zero for over-the-top aftermarket body kits.
The thing is, the Valarra C6 Chevrolet Corvette looks right at home at SEMA, with copious angles, cuts, and dives to help it stand apart from the pack. If the styling doesn’t do it, well, the twin turbochargers definitely will.
This Chevrolet Corvette kit car comes from Florida-based design company Mattao Concepts and the brain of Matthew McEntegart. For those who may be unaware, McEntegart also did the Infiniti-based “Vaydor” kit car featured in the film Suicide Squad.
“We specifically chose the C6 for the best balance of price, performance and style,” the company states. “All you need is a 2005 – 2013 Chevy Corvette to get building.”
The kit includes carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic body pieces, plus a set of ultra-wide wheels and Pirelli P Zero Nero tires, the latter of which are sized at 275/25R24 in front and an outrageous 405/25R24 in back. The kit also includes interior components to help complement the spacey exterior aesthetic.
Those interested in getting one of these things in their driveway simply needs to send their C6 Chevrolet Corvette over to Mattao Concepts in Florida, which will then perform the kit install. The company says it isn’t selling kits for personal installation, but the customer will still need to execute the paint work once the install is complete.
Pricing starts at “under $30,000,” which includes installation. As expected, the company will also offer a selection of optional extras, listed as “Performance, Rim/tire, Carbon Chop,” and more.
The Valarra kit will be available early next year, with preorders planned to be opened “shortly,” according to the Valarra website.
