General Motors brought two unique accessory concept vehicles out to this year’s Dubai Motor Show. The first of these concepts, which we covered previously, is the GMC Sierra AT4 Concept, which features a custom trailer made out of the bed section of a Sierra AT4 along with a tent, cookware and custom body graphics.
The second of these vehicles, the GMC Yukon Concept, stands out a bit more, however. That’s because the show vehicle has been adorned with a pinkish red wrap (or potentially paint) that will surely help it stand out in flashy Dubai. Other items that set the GMC Yukon Concept apart from a standard Yukon include a front and rear black and white GMC emblem set, a roof-mounted Thule Hull-A-Port Pro kayak carrier as well as gloss black trim and wheels.
The GMC Yukon Concept also appears to have an aftermarket gloss black grille of some sort fitted to it, though GM’s press release didn’t have any mention of the grille in it. An aftermarket bug deflector/aerodynamic piece also sits above the grille.
GM has brought a number of new vehicles to the 2019 Dubai Motor Show, including the aforementioned Sierra AT4 Concept, the Sierra AT4 Regular Cab (exclusive to the Middle East) and the new 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The Corvette may be of particular interest to local buyers, as Dubai is a wealthy city that is famous for its abundance of luxury cars and supercars. The Dubai show also marks only the second time the new mid-engine Corvette has been shown outside of North America – the first being at the China International Import Expo in Shanghai this month.
The 2019 Dubai Motor Show kicked off Tuesday, November 12th and will stay open until Saturday, November 16th.
