The Chevy booth at the 2019 SEMA Show was bursting with interesting concepts this year, including a number of upgraded trucks designed to hit the great outdoors with confidence. That includes this Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD, which arrived on the show floor with a new package concept that’s got all the right stuff for a camping adventure.
The big news with this Chevrolet Silverado has to be the concept Z71 Sport package, which includes features like a new black Chevy grille bar, high-intensity LED headlamps, black trim bits, new exterior graphics and beefy off-road tires. We’ll have more info on the production version of this package posted soon, so stay tuned.
The front end also shows off the concept’s black front bumper, which is matched in the rear. The entire fascia looks more cohesive, upgrading the all-new look first established with the latest 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD.
Moving over to the side profile reveals the twin-tube Rancho shocks and off-road suspension offered on the standard Z71 Off-Road package, which is already in production. Meanwhile, the concept includes black door handles, black belt molding and black side-view mirror caps. And check out those sweet black graphics on the fenders too! In the corners, 20-inch aluminum wheels in gloss black come equipped with gloss black center caps with a black Bow Tie badge, plus black lug nuts.
Of course, the elephant in the room has to be the Horizon Rooftop Tent by Napier, an optional extra that’ll run for $1,499. Availability for the tent opens up in December.
Finally, the Chevrolet Silverado’s rear end is tagged with additional black finishes for the Chevrolet logo, Silverado logo and LT badge. Additional details include a Venture TEC rack, cross rails and 36-inch blade by Putco, hard rolling tonneau cover by REV, and Chevytec spray-on bedliner.
Stay tuned, because we have loads more SEMA content heading down the pipeline. In the meantime, make sure to subscribe to GM Authority for more Chevrolet Silverado HD news, Chevrolet Silverado news, Chevrolet news, and around-the-clock GM news coverage.

Wow another graphics package when is someone going to step up an put some real content in these trucks
The Silverado HD Z71 is a great looking truck.. Chevrolet should consider borrowing the Silverado HD Z71 appearance for the Suburban or Yukon especially if they dropped a detuned LT4 with less boost for 550 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque.
UGLY azz truck, these are the ugliest trucks trucks. PERIOD
The front grill and lights look like the station wagon in the Chevy Chase Vacation movie! Surely to goodness there not going to ruin this truck like that. The graphics look like they were done by a 6th grade student. Cheap looking IMO.
This is the ugliest truck gm has ever produced nothing compared to the Ford or dodge. Just hideous bad design
Thats the ugliest damn thing I’ve ever seen. Whoever came up with this design should be fired. Hopefully this isn’t the final design. The front end is retarded. Scrap that p.o.s and start over
