Chevrolet Colorado sales decreased over 9 percent to 31,657 units during the third quarter of 2019, after falling 23 percent to 31,669 units in the second quarter of 2019. The slump comes during a time when new rivals—the Ford Ranger and Jeep Gladiator—have begun to attract sales in the midsize pickup truck segment. So, in what could be an effort to reverse this downward trend for the third quarter, a new Chevrolet Colorado discount takes 15 percent off most 2019 models during November 2019. It’s worth noting that the incentive is much more generous than rebates offered in recent months, including the $4,000 discount offered in September and a similar rebate offered in October.
The Incentives
Nationwide Chevrolet Colorado discount offers for November 2019 are as follows:
- Black Friday Discount: 15 percent below MSRP
- Finance Offer: $750 cash + 0-percent APR for 72 months for well-qualified buyers
In an example provided by the automaker, the headline-making 15-percent Chevrolet Colorado discount lowers the price of a Colorado ZR2 model from $43,995 to a more modest $37,396.
Interested parties should note that the combined Chevrolet Colorado discount can be applied to all 2019 models except for the base trim level.
For reference, here are the applicable 2019 Colorado trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs, including the $1,095 destination charge:
- WT – $25,895
- LT – $28,695
- Z71 – $31,795
- ZR2 – $42,395
Prior to this lucrative offer, we were under the impression that Chevy had been scaling back its incentive offers on the Colorado, as a pattern was noticed from March through May. Then, a similar pattern was observed when Chevy offered a 10-percent Colorado discount in June, followed by a $5,000 discount in July and a $4,500 discount in August. That said, we don’t imagine shoppers will see larger Chevrolet Colorado discount offers during the remainder of 2019.

The Chevrolet Colorado is a mid-size pickup truck. It is currently Chevrolet's smallest pickup truck in the U.S. and Canada, slotting under the full-size Chevrolet Silverado. In Mexico, the Colorado slots above the compact Chevrolet Montana and the similarly-sized S10, but below the Silverado/Cheyenne (the name for some of Silverado's trim levels in Mexico).

For the U.S. and Canada, the Chevrolet Colorado is built at the GM Wentzville factory in Missouri operated by GM USA. The model sold in Asia-Pacific is built at the GM Thailand plant in Rayong, which is operated by GM Thailand. The GM Sao Jose Dos Campos plant operated by GM Brazil builds the Chevy S10 for South America.
