About Buick Envision
The Buick Envision is a compact crossover that slots above the subcompact Buick Encore and below the full-size Buick Enclave. The current, first-generation Envision was introduced for the 2016 model year. The vehicle is based on a variant of the GM D2 platform shared with the second-generation GMC Terrain, Chevrolet Cruze, and Chevrolet Volt.
The Envision launched with a relatively steep starting price of $42,995 in 2016, since it was available only in the two highest trim levels and with the most potent turbo 2.0L LTG engine. The 2017 model introduced several lower-end trim levels, enabling the starting price to drop to $34,990. The 2018 model goes unchanged from the 2017 model.
The 2019 Envision received a midcycle refresh that includes a significant amount of changes, including new headlights and front grille, the new GM 9-speed automatic transmission on Premium models, new exterior colors and interior color combinations, reconfiguring the exhaust pipe on non-Premium models to be turned under the vehicle, new taillights, new wheel choices, the replacement of Ice Blue ambient lighting with White, and the addition of three new technologies -  an ionizing air cleaner, Tire Fill Alert, and wireless cell phone charging. There's also the removal of the Buick script from the rear of the vehicle.
The 2020 Envision will receive two new exterior colors, at the expense of two existing ones.
The Buick Envision is built exclusively at the GM Dong Yue factory operated by GM China and SAIC for global markets

Any idea when the Enspire will debut?
Is this Piece Of Crap made in China ? It sure looks like it .
Put your politics aside and checkout the car. It is really nice inside and out!
Like Chevrolet, Cadillac cant cover that market ?
Over and over again no need for Buick,
Imho wtf……..
GM is testing the water to see if they can get away with importing Chinese vehicles on the down low. With crap like this on offer just go ahead and cancel Buick altogether. Subaru builds more America vehicles than Buick!
It sounds like you are not very familiar with the car. Check it out, take it for a ride. You may find out it is a lot nicer car than a Subaru!
@David
A nice car ??? WTF nice. Lol no one want nice…. try Dependable, not over priced. , maybe made in AMERICA MIGHT HELP,
Why is it not dependable?
My ‘17 Envision is simply the best vehicle I’ve even owned. For those of you who are down on the factory site, here’s a suggestion, try it. It’s beautiful, and those that disagree are being disingenuous or need corrective lenses. The performance is strong and tight, yes even for a Buick…hyperstrut tech is amazing. The interior is comfortable and elegant, problems…….ZERO, yes not a single problem. We know Buick is the most reliable American world brand, with beauty, performance, reliability and amazing dealers too. Just think of this…..America has conquered the world to the point we’re our oldest US brand is beloved in China. You ready for this….Mary Barra deserves to be on the GM Mount Rushmore along with Durant, Sloan, Kettering, etc.
first it is really tacky too charge extra for paint , imo GM does need Buick only if it is an AMERICAN car if they want to stay in china then kill Buick because they are slowing killing it anyway like they the other GREAT Pontiacs and Oldsmobile’s ,keep it up MARY you are killing the WHOLE company chasing customers away .
