You Can Win A Trip To The 2020 12 Hours Of Sebring With Mobil 1

Lubricant company Mobil 1 is one of the main partners of the Corvette Racing team and is also the only purveyor of a General Motors Dexos-approved motor oil developed specifically for the Chevrolet Corvette.

It’s therefore quite easy to see why the company is excited for the introduction of the new-generation Corvette C8 and the new Corvette C8.R race car, which will make its debut at the 2020 24 Hours of Daytona in January.

This week, Mobil 1 announced its “What’s Next?” sweepstakes, which are intended to celebrate the launch of the Corvette C8 and the Corvette C8.R’s competition debut early next year. Those who enter the giveaway will have a shot at winning one of three prizes, with the grand prize being a trip for two to the 2020 IMSA 12 Hours of Sebring.

Unfortunately, not just anyone can enter this prize draw. To be eligible, you must be a current owner of a Corvette or another GM vehicle. Additionally, you must visit your local GM dealer for a Mobil 1 oil change and take a picture of the receipt, which must be uploaded when you fill out the entry form. The form will also require you to input your vehicle’s VIN.

The consolation prizes are pretty good too, with 495 entrants receiving a Corvette Collectors kit that includes a Corvette shirt, a pair of driving gloves and a limited-edition Corvette brand duffle bag. Lastly, some entrants will receive a limited-edition Corvette Racing poster signed by the team’s drivers, which currently include Jan Magnussen, Antonio Garcia, Oliver Gavin, Tommy Milner and endurance third drivers Mike Rockenfeller and Marcel Fässler.

If you don’t win, Mobil 1 still has a small prize to offer you. The same poster that some contest entrants will win can be digitally downloaded via Mobil 1’s website, which you could print to frame or use as a desktop computer background, for example.

  1. Will dealerships still do oil changes during the strike. Friend has a 2014 GMC with the 5.3, and oil level is at around 31% now, and they usually change their oil at 25%. This vehicle is used exclusively for winter road trips, and hasn’t had oil changed for 16 months.

  2. I thought it was illegal to require a purchase to enter a contest?
