The 2020 Cadillac CT6-V will offer a total of three wheel options, comprised of one standard wheel and two available ones. We’ve compiled a comprehensive guide to 2020 Cadillac CT6-V wheels, complete with pictures, availability info, and other details for your browsing and shopping pleasure.
Overall, all 2020 Cadillac CT6-V wheels are made of aluminum alloy, are 20 inches in diameter, and vary in design and finish. Additionally, one wheel set measures 9-inches in width while the other two measure in 8.5-inches in width.
Buyers interested in ordering their Cadillac CT6-V (1SV) with a set of optional wheels should note that they are LPO items, meaning they are shipped to the dealership as an additional set. This would be an excellent proposition for folks in colder climates needing a set of winter or all-season tires, as the standard wheels come wrapped in summer-only Goodyear tires. Both sets of optional wheels have an additional cost of $2,095.
All 2020 Cadillac CT6-V wheels available from the factory are shown above. Note that the spare wheel (PZ1) is not included in the gallery above or table below. It is a spare 19-inch steel wheel and is standard on all 2020 Cadillac CT6-V models.
The table below lists the three sets of 2020 Cadillac CT6-V wheels, along with the corresponding RPO codes, diameters, widths, finishes and trim level availability.
RPO Code | Material | Diameter (inches) | Width (inches) | Finish | Availability |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
5JO | Aluminum alloy | 20 | 8.5 | Midnight Silver | Opt |
RTH | Aluminum alloy | 20 | 8.5 | Ultra Bright w/ Midnight Silver | Std |
SHH | Aluminum alloy | 20 | 9 | Polished | Opt |
While there isn’t a huge variety of wheel choices for the 2020 Cadillac CT6-V, we do think the available selection is rather good looking. In fact, we’d venture to say that the majority of Cadillac’s new wheel designs have been top-notch over the past several years.
Let us know in the comments section which set you would choose for the beastly Cadillac CT6-V super sedan.

Well the set shown on the car sure look nice, but I’ve never understood the concept of showing rims just by themselves. Unless you can see it on the car, what’s the point? Of the three sets offered, I can’t say that I like the other two based on just a pic. But shown on the car they may look much better.
Anyhooo…..good luck keeping them looking nice with the rubber bands for tires. As I’ve said before, I just don’t get why the fad is huge rims with no tire. They could certainly make an equally great looking rim in an 18″ with just a little more tire, thus still having the “filled wheel well” look. The benefits would be a slightly better ride, slightly more road isolation, better rim protection and probably be a little cheaper to replace down the road.
Big,Big Wheel’s,teeny tiny sidewalls, I don’t get it??!? Four wheel steering on CT6 ,I wish you good luck if you are driving through NJ & NY
I would go with the SHH. Nice looking wheel and should clean easily. I always try to think of maintaining appearance without too much effort.
I have the 5JO wheels on my 2018 CT6 as part of the “Sport Appearance” option that added $2300 to my bottom line. Five spoke wheels are somewhat fragile especially on 20″ wheels when it comes to potholes and other road “imperfections”. I have already replaced 6 of these wheels after 22 months, and winter potholes areright around the corner. I definitely recommend the wheel and tire insurance your Cadillac dealer offers if you use 20″ wheels.
Oh, and I have also replaced three of the Goodyear tires along with the wheels and another tire due to road debris……
John,
That is a huge part of the point that I try to make with these overly large rims. Do they look great? Yes. Do they help sell the car? Probably. But as you so clearly pointed out, there are a lot of negatives. I’d bet if you had 18″ rims with a larger sidewall, this would not be an issue.
Is this car dead or not?
GM had previously said the fate of Hamtramck and thus presumably the CT6 would be determined in the UAW contract negotiations in the fall. With the news that there has been a tentative deal reached, does anyone know if it includes keeping the plant building Cadillac’s flagship open? The summaries of the deal I have read make no mention of GM agreeing to keep any of the “unallocated” plants running.
If GM didn’t agree to keep Hamtramck open then the statement that “Buyers interested in ordering their Cadillac CT6-V (1SV) with a set of optional wheels should note that they are LPO items” really becomes moot as production will soon end and with it any opportunity to order a new CT6.
I hope GM agreed to keep this plant operating and finally figures out how to build products so compelling that they actually need the capacity it offers again. Mary’s continued shrinking of the company, retreat from product segments, and entire markets such as Europe, plus the attendant plant closures and layoffs is tragic.
Okay, so here’s the answer to my question according to CNBC:
“A fourth plant in Detroit that was also slated for closure, as previously reported by CNBC, will be spared to build a new all-electric pickup for the automaker, if the deal is ratified. The assembly plant is still slated to end production of the Cadillac CT6 and Chevrolet Impala by January.”

So GM is keeping Hamttamck but still killing the CT6, the best product Cadillac has launched in 40 years. It doesn’t matter what kind of silly wheel options there are now. The car is dead. Ruess was doing exactly what I thought with his hedge on killing the car; he was lying to keep sales from totally tanking until the ax actually fell.
This is incredibly disappointing. Maybe I can finally just totally give up on Cadillac. It’s horribly mismanaged and I just need to accept that the situation is never going to change. I am exhausted from rooting for this brand and eternally being let-down
GM needs to sell Cadillac to a company that would understand it, appreciate it and nourish it. Mary and her merry band of cost cutters are killing it by 1,000 cuts.
I like 5JO the best.
