Buick Discount Drops Regal Sportback Price 16% October 2019

Buick Regal sales decreased 12 percent to 2,456 units during the third quarter of 2019. The decline is less drastic than the 34-percent drop in the second quarter of 2019. It’s unclear how many of those units are Regal Sportback models, as GM doesn’t break out Regal sales by model variant.

That said, the results are a bit deflating after the rampant sales growth of the Regal nameplate over the past few quarters. So, in a potential effort to reverse the downward trend, a Buick discount offers interest-free financing for Regal Sportback sedan models during October 2019. While the savings can equate to quite a bit, depending on loan terms and amount financed, we imagine most shoppers would prefer the 16-percent discount from September, which Buick is maintaining through the month of October.

The Incentive

The nationwide Buick discount on the 2019 Regal Sportback is $250 cash + 0 percent financing for 72 months

This deal is applicable to most 2019 Buick Sportback models, excluding the 1SV (Base) model. Here are the 2019 Buick Sportback models and their respective MSRPs, destination freight charge included:

  • Sportback (1SV) – $25,995 (not applicable to the offers)
  • Preferred (1SB) – $28,595
  • Preferred II (1SC) – $30,695
  • Essence (1SL) – $32,695
  • Avenir – (1SP) $36,195

When the headline-making Buick discount is applied to a Sportback Essence model with an MSRP of $36,770, the savings equate to almost $6,000 if one were to finance the purchase amount (without taxes) at a rate of 4.5 percent for the same 72-month term. We recommend referring an amortization schedule to get a better sense of how much you could save on the specific model of your choice.

      1. Really? How can you help with that when GM stupidly discontinued the Lacrosse for 2019? Unless you plan on showing them a 2020 Regal I don’t see how this will work.

  2. the big mistake the genuises at GM made with the regal was not putting the camaro v6 in it,I think it was rated at 335 hp because when the reviewers talk about how great the Stinger is it’s all about the HP having it all over the mild Regal.

  3. No I think the big mistake GM made was not advertising The Regal GS. If they advertised it more people would know it has a V-6 engine, the same one that is used in the Camaro.
