Buick Envision sales increased 39 percent to 8,088 units during the third quarter of 2019. The strong performance follows a 28 percent hike to 9,138 units in the second quarter of 2019. The results aren’t surprising, as current market trends strongly favor larger vehicles, including crossovers and SUVs. So, in what is perhaps an effort to maintain growth in this competitive segment, a new Buick discount takes 17 percent off the premium crossover in October 2019, which equates to well over $6,000 in some cases. However, this month’s offer is exclusive to current owners of non-GM vehicles.
The Incentive
The nationwide Buick discount on the 2019 Envision is 17 percent below MSRP for current owners of non-GM vehicles when financing with GM Financial. To qualify, a buyer must be a current owner of a 2005 or newer non-GM vehicle.
This deal is applicable to all 2019 Buick Envision models except for the base (1SV) model. For reference, here are the 2019 Buick Envision models and their respective MSRPs:
- Preferred – $34,695
- Essence – $36,995
- Premium – $41,895
- Premium II – $44,795
When the offer is applied to an Envision Essence model with an MSRP of $39,015, the MSRP decreases by over $6,000 using the following incentives: $1,581 price reduction below MSRP + $5,052 purchase allowance = $6,633 total discount. As such, the discount brings the price down to a more modest $32,382.

About Buick Envision
The Buick Envision is a compact crossover that slots above the subcompact Buick Encore and below the full-size Buick Enclave. The current, first-generation Envision was introduced for the 2016 model year. The vehicle is based on a variant of the GM D2 platform shared with the second-generation GMC Terrain, Chevrolet Cruze, and Chevrolet Volt.
The Envision launched with a relatively steep starting price of $42,995 in 2016, since it was available only in the two highest trim levels and with the most potent turbo 2.0L LTG engine. The 2017 model introduced several lower-end trim levels, enabling the starting price to drop to $34,990. The 2018 model goes unchanged from the 2017 model.
The 2019 Envision received a midcycle refresh that includes a significant amount of changes, including new headlights and front grille, the new GM 9-speed automatic transmission on Premium models, new exterior colors and interior color combinations, reconfiguring the exhaust pipe on non-Premium models to be turned under the vehicle, new taillights, new wheel choices, the replacement of Ice Blue ambient lighting with White, and the addition of three new technologies -  an ionizing air cleaner, Tire Fill Alert, and wireless cell phone charging. There's also the removal of the Buick script from the rear of the vehicle.
The 2020 Envision will receive two new exterior colors, at the expense of two existing ones.
The Buick Envision is built exclusively at the GM Dong Yue factory operated by GM China and SAIC for global markets

Sorry, they could be giving them away for free but I wouldn’t drive a China made car; especially from a US brand.
Not 1 recall.
Premium ii model is awesome. Super reliable. Again not 1 recall. GKN twin Clutch AWD.
This is what a car journalist said about turbo engine vs. the engine in a cadillac…
“On the other hand, since we are looking for a high-end product, the turbocharged four-cylinder 2.0 liter is a much more logical choice. It develops 252 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque at 3,000 rpm, managed by a nine-speed automatic transmission.
We like this engine, because it is more muscular than the newer 2.0-liter turbo GM in the Cadillac XT4, plus it is also more refined and quieter.”
Anyone who criticizes about any company building anything in China is a closed minded moron who most likely wishes owning an Envision Premium II model.
I’ve noticed vehicles made in USA Canada Mexico all have recalls coming out left right and centre.
Apple makes awesome products very high end sh!t all made in China.
Be a leader and stop following other morons with a mentality of steering clear of made in China products because their quality control is much much more strict than other nations mentioned.
AHH why am I wasting my time with idiots.. It’s like beating a dead horse.
Thanks Mary, your speech has inspired me. I can only hope the line isn’t too long at my Buick dealer Monday morning.
We now all know what a 50 cent party member looks like when we see one making a post that defends China.
You outed yourself when you said Apple makes awesome products, but neglected to mention that they use off the shelf, mass-market components for their computers that are functionally indistinct from mid-range laptops.
Say hi to Winnie the Pooh for me.
even if Mary gave me one , it’s assembled in china IT’S NOT FOR ME
