2020 Silverado Special Edition Models Now Available To Order

Buyers looking to inject their new 2020 Silverado with a little customization will be pleased to learn that the previously-announced Special Edition models are now available to order.

Heading the list is the new Silverado Rally Special Edition, which is the sportier, “street-focused” model in the lineup. The Rally is offered on both Silverado Custom and Silverado RST trim levels, and can be had in four different exterior colors, including Black, Red Hot, Silver Ice Metallic and Summit White.

As for content, the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado Rally Special Edition comes with:

  • Body-colored grille
  • Black Rally stripes on hood and tailgate
  • Black Chevrolet tailgate lettering
  • Black badging
  • Black Bowties, black exhaust tip(s)
  • Black assist steps

The 2020 Chevrolet Silverado Rally Special Edition also features unique content specific to either the Custom or RST trim level:

  • 22-inch High Gloss Black Wheels (SGM)
  • All Star Package (PDU)

Meanwhile, buyers looking for an off-road-ready special-edition Silvy can look to the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado LT Trail Boss Midnight Edition, which is now available to order with the LT Trail Boss trim level.

The Midnight Special Edition model includes the following content:

  • Black Silverado badging
  • Black grille
  • Black Bowtie badging
  • Black bumpers
  • Black exhaust tips
  • Black assist steps
  • Unique high-intensity LED headlamps with dark bezels and full-curtain signature DRLs
  • 18-inch black aluminum wheels (RD1) with Duratrac tires (R30)
  • Optional 20-inch black aluminum wheels (RD5) with all-terrain tires (QAE)

2020 Silverado Midnight Edition

The 2020 Chevrolet Silverado LT Trail Boss Midnight Edition is exclusively equipped with the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87, which mates to the GM 10-speed automatic transmission. Output is rated at 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.

  1. Chevy seriously needs to come out with a ss Silverado again but with real performance in the drivetrain and suspension…super SPORT…think sports car but a sports truck

      Cloth sport bucket seats
      20″ rims with optional 22
      Optional summer tires

      LT SS
      High output 6.2 or a version of the 4.2TT V8
      Lowered 2″
      Air suspension
      Performance air intake, exhaust, and apparently there is a dealer ECU tune
      Performance cloth with optional leather sport seats
      Flat bottom steering wheel
      20″ rims with optional 22
      Summer tires
      Rear eDiff or LSD
      Big brake kit

      Then have various decal packages available for each. And have a regular cab short bed as a friggin option!

    1. All the Silvy’s in the lineup; I’ve got ’19 Midnight Edition that’s extended cab. This is what I wanted & all I need. Not everybody has a crew. What about the extended cab in 2020?
