2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV In Oasis Blue: Live Photo Gallery

The 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV hits the market later this year with a number of updates, including upwards of 259 miles of range, a 21-mile increase compared to the 2019 model. In addition to extra range per charge, the 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV also introduces two new paint colors, with Oasis Blue and Cayenne Orange Metallic now headlining the roster. We recently got a chance to drive the new 2020 Bolt EV, and during our time with the car, we captured some shots of it rocking the new Oasis Blue paint job.

Oasis Blue is offered as one of the “free” colors in the 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV paint lineup, which means it’s available to buyers at no extra cost. The hue is tagged with color code “GHC” and touch-up code “WA-322E,” and is offered in conjunction with all available interior color combinations, including:

  • Dark Galvanized / Sky Cool Gray
  • Dark Galvanized Gray
  • Light Ash Gray / Ceramic White

Draped on the five-door Bolt EV, we think Oasis Blue looks fantastic, highlighting the sharp lines and futuristic features with ease. The color is bright, and does well to offset the black trim in the grille, fenders, DLO (day light opening) surrounds and rear hatch.

Indeed, for those buyers interested in making a visual statement with their 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV, this is one shade that definitely gets the job done. We think the floating roof design is enhanced even further by this shade of powder blue, and if we had this particular combo sitting in our garage, we think a window tint would be the cherry on top.

For reference, the upcoming 2021 Chevrolet Bolt EV is expected to get a refresh with a revised exterior, an improved interior and new seats, as confirmed by a recent set of spy photos.

  1. Awesome color. I’m glad GM is taking more risks with colors lately!

    1. Agree. Finally. I miss the vibrant colors from the ’50’s through the ’80s. I can’t believe how many shades of gray GM offers that are just lifeless. Then again, I think consumers who aren’t adventurous prefer the nondescript colors like Nightfall Gray, Stone Gray, etc.

      1. Whoever’s picking the colors for the Chevy Bolt should be taken out behind the barn and spanked until lay turn and nice red metallic on their pearl white bottoms. Just saying.

  2. like bright colors on small cars, but the BOLT EV is awkward and ugly in any color

    1. It would do very well in France though. They seem to like small quirky cars there rather than tank like GMC pickups.

  4. Going to get an Oasis color this week. Lease rate with 1000 down under $300. Great deals to be had and since work fills up my battery it’s only $150 a month for us. What a great deal for a new car. Reminds me of some of the fun 60s beetle colors I had!
