That’s one way to get rid of a POS, just my opinion.
Can anyone make a product excellent anymore!
No.
My neighbors 2015 Equinox was just totaled yesterday in a fire that started at the front of the car for no reason. She just got home and went inside then the fire started, the car was engulfed in flames in a minute. She just bought the car from the local Chevy dealership and did not have insurance so she is going to try to talk with Chevy about it.
Does this recall also include it’s cousin the GMC Terrain?

On Nov. 19, 2021 my 2019 Chevrolet Equinox caught on fire as I was pulling out of my driveway for a planned engagement, the fire started in the fuse compartment area of my vehicle right by the gas intake area, I reported it immediately to GM, my insurance company and the dealership where I purchased it, I’m still awaiting satisfaction for my vehicle that was totalled and I suffered minor burns to my hand in a successful attempt to keep it from exploding… GM did give me and my insurance company a incident number…
