Tahoe SS Coupe, Escalade V-Coupe Conversions Priced From $125k

We already covered the Chevrolet Tahoe SS Coupe and Cadillac Escalade V-Coupe conversions that are currently being offered by Atlanta, Georgia based shop Custom Car Co. These unique tuning programs promise to convert your fourth-generation Chevrolet Tahoe and Cadillac Escalade into a stylish two-door SUV with the performance to back up its mildly sporty new looks, but unfortunately, they won’t come cheap.
Our sister publication Cadillac Society recently spoke with Custom Car Co. founder Eddie Le Grand-Sawyer, who told them the conversions will be priced from $125,000, not including a donor Tahoe or Escalade.
“We are currently accepting orders for the first run of Escalade and Tahoe coupes,” he explained. “Current orders will be delivered in December. Pricing for the full conversion (exterior, interior, wheels, brakes, suspension, performance, and infotainment upgrades) starts at $125,000 and does not include the donor vehicle. For those who want a seamless experience, we deliver turnkey builds to customers worldwide.”
As the old saying goes, though, good work ain’t cheap and cheap work ain’t good. If you’re planning on hiring someone to chop two doors off of your Tahoe or Escalade, it would be comforting to know that they demand a decent sum for their craftsmanship. Upgrades offered with the package include a twin-turbo system, aftermarket alloy wheels, performance brakes, and V-Series or SS-inspired performance upgrades. A wide selection of exterior color and interior upholstery/trim upgrades are offered, too.
Custom Car Co. has not produced a Tahoe SS Coupe or Escalade V-Series Coupe yet, although we do hope to see both cars in the flesh come December. We imagine production hinges on the amount of interest they can generate in the vehicles.
