Half of the fun of being a pony car owner or fan is comparing and competing with the other two-door offerings from rival Detroit Big Three manufacturers.
These days, the gap between General Motors, Ford and Chrysler pony cars is quite tiny, with each of the domestic brands offering up well priced muscle coupes that provide customers with plenty of choice.
For this reason, it’s hard to go wrong buying a modern day pony car – whether you opt for a Chevrolet Camaro, Ford Mustang or Dodge Challenger.
This closely-contested marketplace battle is on full display in this video of a stock 2019 Camaro ZL1 racing a stock 2019 Dodge Challenger Hellcat. The stock Hellcat has more power, with its supercharged V8 engine making 707 horsepower and 707 pound-feet of torque, but the Camaro ZL1 is lighter and a bit more aerodynamic, so you just know this race is going to be tight.
Crucially, both of the vehicles in the video are also equipped with the available automatic transmissions from their respective manufacturers, so the drivers make less of a difference than they might if they were both manual cars.
So which of these muscle coupes will come out on top? Check out the Camaro ZL1 vs. Challenger Hellcat drag race in the video embedded below to find out. If you feel so inclined, you can also stick around afterwards for a surprise encore performance featuring the same Hellcat and a manual Fox Body Mustang with a very quick driver behind the wheel. It’s nearly as entertaining as the Camaro race – if not more so.
Of course, the true winners in this situation are American muscle car fans. Between products like the Camaro ZL1, Challenger Hellcat and Mustang GT500, it’s truly a great time to be a Domestic performance car enthusiast.

The domestic performance war is over and the champion is the 2020 Chevrolet C8 Corvette Z51, the C8 outperforms cars costing almost as much in the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 or Dodge Challenger Hellcat; but because the C8 uses superior technology, it doesn’t need as much horsepower to be faster and not significantly more expensive as the C8 is a rule breaker.
Twisted frames with big Hp and lots of torque.
You do know the twisted frames were a April’s fool’s joke? It was a long article and the end the author wrote in bold print GOTCHA….APRIL FOOLS
No wrong, what you said is a joke. Multiple C8’s . When 500 up to 1000 hp tested in the mid engine with torque to match, bent and in some broke frames. That’s a fact.
Who won
11.87 @ 121.91 – 11.95 @ 121.49

Camaro should have won somebody didn’t tune right should have been neck to neck but still Camaro should have won hands down
What, no turns?
Get in “The Ring” MOPAR fans, then we can all see for ourselves that the hello Kitty has no claws!
?
?
That must be why the Challenger is laying waste to the Camaro?
Upset Viper fans gotta drive something, not that that car was a sales success!
Kinda like the money loosing GT, just not as bad.
Get in “The Ring” Hell Track Pack Demon Cat (did I leave anything out?) and GT “what? I can’t sell my car for how long?” that’s built by an outside company keyboard racers.
Fact is fact, GM puts the rubber to the stopwatch. Turns or not. In this case the superior, lighter chassied car with less horse power (that can turn as well as burn) out ran the all mighty……..
Where was I?
Your Opinion ! I’m waiting on track time. Camaro ripped it up Nurburging in Germany, when I see the C8 better lap time, then I’ll believe it. ZL1 still faster. And out handles old or new Vette. That’s the facts.
Hellcat needs a driver mod. ?
Your engine description is wrong. Camaro has 6.2 supercharged lt4… Hellcat has 6.2 supercharged hemi
Fatman in a little car, fatman in a little car..ripp @ 2:30..
Two great cars but stop the video at 2:03 and take a look at both cars. Camaro is effortless, it just glides thru the air. Challenger looks like it’s at its max effort. It looks like the platform has hard time catching up to the powertrain, it’s a step behind.
I was actually at the track when these 2 cars raced, it was both cars worst runs of the night, the Hellcat did A best of 11.6 at 121.98 and the ZL1 did A 11.74, I can’t remember the mile per hour thou, those are decent times for street tires and I’m sure they will improve on those times in the future
The ZL1 won that race, not sure what Eoc6364 was looking at,the digital speed monitor showed that the Camaro was faster.Mopar sucks, spaghetti cars now.Plus they turn like the Titanic and the ZL1 runs circles around them on a road course. The Hellcat gets lapped like a low budget NASCAR team compared to Hendrick or Gibbs. The Challengers are nice looking but they are very heavy and one trick ponies.Don’t get me started on the Slowstangs with their OHC engines(if you want to call them that) that don’t make torque.I put “Objects in the mirror are losing stickers” on my side mirrors of my 2017 Camaro SS 8speed auto for a reason:I have laid waste to a Shaker R/T 392 and GT Slowstangs, get that garbage outta here!
Cannot wait to see the Zora go up against a Challenger Demon. It will smoke that pos.
Mopar Or No Car!
You chevy fags can suck it!
That Pos chevy cant hold the Hellcats turds much less beat it in any kind race!
Your chevy junk will never ever beat a mopar ever! Deal with it you little chevy fags lmao
“Your chevy junk will never ever beat a mopar ever!”
ATP’s say otherwise, and FCA is the only automaker saddled with Fiat and Alfa.
Know your place (down market).
When you drive a Mopar……you have no car!
Mopar junk burns down! ??

Chevrolet all damn day all we do is slay-slay-slay????. It’s a bowtie why even try??
Key word “GM” Auth, need I say more? I have both and in a straight line, my ZL1-1LE does not stand a chance!
MoparorNocar the zl1 won you idiot!
Hellcat has 650 torque not 707

I oversee a vape shop web directory and we have had a listing from a vape shop in the United States that also offers for sale CBD products. A Month afterwards, PayPal has contacted use to say that our account has been limited and have asked us to take out PayPal as a payment solution from our vape shop directory site. We do not offer for sale CBD products such as CBD oil. We simply offer marketing and advertising services to CBD companies. I have looked into Holland & Barrett– the UK’s Leading Wellness Retailer and if you take a good look, you will witness that they offer a pretty extensive stable of CBD products, primarily CBD oil and they also happen to accept PayPal as a settlement method. It appears that PayPal is employing twos sets of rules to different companies. Due to this limitation, I can no longer accept PayPal on my CBD-related online site. This has restrained my payment options and currently, I am seriously contingent on Cryptocurrency payments and direct bank transfers. I have sought advice from a barrister from a Magic Circle law practice in The city of london and they stated that what PayPal is doing is totally against the law and inequitable as it ought to be applying a systematic criterion to all companies. I am still to consult yet another legal representative from a US law firm in The city of london to see what PayPal’s legal position is in the United States. For the time being, I would be very appreciative if anyone here at targetdomain could offer me with alternative payment processors/merchants that deal with CBD companies.
