New Spy Shots Give Us Fresh Look At 2021 Cadillac Escalade

A new batch of spy shots from GM Authority‘s sister site Cadillac Society has provided us with another look yet at the upcoming 2021 Cadillac Escalade.

While these photos give us a better idea of what the 2021 Cadillac Escalade will look like, the prototype caught testing was still quite heavily camouflaged, so these photos don’t tell the full tale of the tape. One thing we will say, though, is that this upcoming new Escalade looks a bit more curvaceous than the boxy fourth-generation model being sold currently – just look at the shape of that A-pillar.

There are still some rather interesting aspects of this prototype, despite its heavy camo. New dual six-spoke machine face alloy wheels are present, along with the previously seen trapezoidal exhaust tips. The trapezoidal tips are one of two different exhaust tips we’ve seen on 2021 Cadillac Escalade prototypes – the other being a sport-looking dual twin-tip setup.

GM Authority recently shared spy photos showing off the interior of the 2021 Cadillac Escalade, revealing a widescreen infotainment display mounted high up on the dash and Cadillac’s Electronic Precision Shift gear selector in the center console. Expect GM to employ a mix of high-end materials in the cabin, as well, as it looks to compete with up-to-date rivals like the Lincoln Navigator and Mercedes-Benz GLS.

We also hear the new Escalade will spawn a high-performance variant and a battery electric model with more than 400 miles of range, which should help set Cadillac apart from the competition even more.

We’ll bring you more spy photos of the 2021 Cadillac Escalade once prototypes begin to ditch all that ugly black camouflage and show off the nameplate’s updated new design. You can expect the SUV to debut shortly before going on sale early in 2020.

  1. Small detail but I hope they finally add LED turn signals to the front.

    1. Yeah, and I hope it’s the kind where the DRL is used as the turn signals and they change from white to yellow when used, such as the ‘Thors Hammer” DRL’s new Volvo’s have.

      1. Those wheels are spectacular.

  2. Those interior shots are not of the new Escalade. That was debunked on other sites with actual Escalade interior shots which were much nicer.

      1. I’m confused to what you’re informing me about. In this article I clicked the icon to “expand” the 2021 Cadillac Escalade spy photos. From my understanding, the interior shots are of the GMC/Chevy variants. That is what I’m mentioning.

Yes, yours link takes me to the article of the correct Escalade spy photos.

  3. Unless the 2021 Cadillac Escalade gets access to the Blackwing V8, it’s still just a Suburban with a lot of bling and nothing to really excite potential buyers with something exclusive as Chevy can always install the LT4 650 hp supercharged 6.2L V8 to transform the Suburban into a sports sedan.

  4. Is it just me, or are the interior pictures that are with the rest of the spy shots above not a Cadillac Escalade?

In fact, with the quality of the material on the inside and the fact that the gauge cluster display does not look like the other spy shots from a week or two ago makes me think that those interior pictures above are actually of the upcoming GMC Yukon.

Maybe someone can give some insight on that, but I don’t think those pictures are of the interior of the Escalade.

    1. Haha.. never mind. Someone already touched on that.

  5. I hope that when the camo comes off we will have discovered the designers found their french curve and put the rulers down.

I like Cadillac’s design overall, I just want to see some “flow(?)”.
