The 2020 GMC Acadia AT4 will be priced from $42,495 including destination, placing it between the range-topping Denali trim and the mid-level SLE trim.
General Motors debuted the new off-road focused 2020 GMC Acadia AT4 in the spring, which is set apart by its black chrome-accented grille, black mirror caps, black roof rails, model specific 17-inch wheels wrapped in Continental Terrain Contact all-terrain tires and standard twin-clutch all-wheel drive system. Larger 20-inch wheels are also available.
The only available powertrain is GM’s 310 horsepower 3.6-liter LGX V6 engine, which is paired with the automaker’s nine-speed automatic transmission.
Other equipment on the Acadia AT4 includes a high-definition rear-view camera (which is also standard on SLT and Denali trims and available on SLE), a hands-free power liftgate with GMC logo projection (also standard on SLT and Denali) and AT4 exterior badging. There’s also AT4-branded heavy duty floor mats and an AT4-branded rear cargo area mat.
CarsDirect notes the 2020 GMC Acadia AT4 trim costs $500 more than an Acadia SLT equipped with all-wheel drive, which starts at $41,995. It is also exactly $7,000 less than an all-wheel drive equipped Denali model, which start at $49,495.
For 2020, the GMC Acadia also received an updated exterior appearance with a new grille, new C-shaped LED lights and a new rear fascia with different taillights. GM’s turbocharged 2.0-liter LTG engine also joins the entry-level 2.5-liter LCV four-cylinder and 3.6-liter V6 engine options for 2020 and is offered exclusively on SLT and Denali trims.
The 2020 Acadia will be offered in variety exterior colors including Carbon Black Metallic, Satin Steel Metallic, Red Quartz Tintcoat, Ebony Twilight Metallic, Summit White, White Frost Metallic, Quicksilver Metallic, Smokey Quartz Metallic, Dark Sky Metallic and Red Mohgany Metallic.
“The 2020 Acadia is stylish, functional and capable with more of the smart convenience and connectivity features that customers rely on every day,” GMC boss Duncan Aldred said in a statement. “And with GMC’s signature refinement at its core, the new Acadia advances the brand’s commitment to offering premium vehicles for discerning crossover customers.”

I thought it came with different tires.
But those Conti tires are amazing. They look like a highway tire and provide great on road performance, but are actually an all terrain and handle the mud and dirt very well too
This has turned out pretty much a All Terrain with a couple added Features standard.
From what GMC stated the other day they are wanting to elevate the All All Terrain to a higher level package with the AT4 which will add more profits.
In the interview I saw they want to make the AT4 and SLT similar but give customers the choice of more off road and less chrome or more chrome and more on road for a similar price.
I expect from what i have seen on the trucks they will have more options available in a wider price range like the SLT .
I would have bought a ALL Terrain Truck but it lacked some options I wanted. That appears to be corrected. If I bought a new Sierra today it would be an AT4.
Ughhhh 3.6-liter LGX V6 when will this engine die already.
I hope they offer it with more than just a black interior with accents. These black interiors are so boring, I like lighter colors and maybe more accent options.
Now it look better
