Earlier this year, Chevrolet announced the “refresh of a refresh” 2020 Camaro, which arrived with a long list of changes, including the new LT1 trim level, a revised front fascia for the SS model, and several other updates. And now, GM Authority has exclusively learned that the 2020 Camaro will add updated infotainment features with the addition of the SiriusXM 360L service.
Essentially, SiriusXM 360L is a more advanced version of SiriusXM, with radios supporting 360L combining satellite and streaming features (such as On Demand), resulting in “the best listening experience SiriusXM has ever offered.” The service also offers over 200 channels of content, as well as personalized recommendations based on previous selections. The service also includes thousands of hours of pre-recorded shows, interviews, and events, plus play-by-play sports broadcasts. GM Authority first profiled the various SiriusXM 360L features offered on the new Cadillac XT6, back in February.
On the 2020 Camaro, SiriusXM 360L is available as part of the optional Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus system (RPO code IOS), which is the intermediate-level infotainment system on offer. The system features the following:
- Eight-inch diagonal HD color touchscreen
- AM/FM and SiriusXM 360L radio
- Bluetooth streaming for two active devices
- Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support
- Voice recognition
- In-vehicle apps
- Cloud connected personalization for select infotainment and vehicle settings
Lower in the trim level range, 2020 Camaro models are offered with a seven-inch infotainment screen system (RPO code IOR), while higher trim levels get the Chevrolet Infotainment System 3 Premium, but with added navigation (RPO code IOT).
