Chevrolet Discount For Impala Insignificant In July 2019

Chevrolet Impala sales decreased just under 8 percent to 12,536 units in the second quarter of 2019. The results represent a decline of already-depressed sales volumes for the full-size sedan. The decrease, along with GM’s plans to discontinue the Impala, has led to a few notable incentives for the full-size sedan during the first half of the year. But for the month of July 2019, Chevrolet discount offers for the Impala are insignificant, totaling $500 in customer cash.

Incentives

The nationwide Chevrolet discount offer for the Impala during the month of July 2019 is:

  • 2019 Impala customer cash: $500 customer cash

That’s it, just five-hundred bucks; nothing more, nothing less. That said, you should contact your local dealership for any potential discounts they can offer besides this manufacturer rebate.

For reference, here are the applicable 2019 Impala trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs:

2019 Impala:

  • LS – $28,895
  • LT – $31,395
  • Premier – $37,595

As such, the discount brings the starting price of the Impala down to a slightly-more-affordable $28,395.

About Chevrolet Impala

The Chevrolet Impala is a full-size sedan. It is the biggest Chevrolet sedan currently offered, slotting above the subcompact Chevrolet Sonic, compact Chevrolet Cruze and midsize Chevrolet Malibu.

The current model was introduced for the 2014 model year and represents the tenth generation of the storied Impala nameplate. It rides on the GM Super Epsilon platform shared with the second-generation Buick LaCrosse and Cadillac XTS.

Compared to its ninth-generation predecessor, the tenth-gen Impala is an all-new vehicle that is larger, sleeker and more modern. Chevrolet modified its strategy for the new model, as the ninth-gen model was sold to rental fleets in significant quantities, while the tenth-gen is primarily intended for purchase by consumers at the retail level. This condition alone has resulted in a strategic decrease in sales volume of the current model.

As announced in November 2018, the Chevrolet Impala will be discontinued after the tenth-generation model. This means that it will not see an 11th generation model.

The Chevrolet Impala is assembled at the following plants for global markets:

Both facilities are slated to be idled in 2019 as a result of decisions undertaken by Chevrolet parent, General Motors.

  1. Pick a near new 18 19 premier at Hertz for $18k with 20,000 miles… Who would pay $37k for a 15k car in a couple years. GM has fallen off their rockers with wall st dreams. New car sales are in the toilet and this is their incentive? Mary Barra needs to go! Get back to building “quality” cars people want to drive for a fair price. Until then the used car market is soft making it a buyers dream! Wake up GM!

    1. they had no choice, customers went on to SUV’s and trucks, plus electric vehicles and self driving vehicles may also come as well, so impala may never be revived again.

    2. Wouldn’t it be Smarter, to ‘Dump the Upper Management’ and bring in some ‘Car Guys and gals’, along with Bob Lutz, as an advisor, to get GM back on track, before the current leadership destroys GM completely??
The Chevrolet Impala LTZ Premier with the powerful, time tested, economical 6 Cylinder, is an Excellent Value, a Great Design, and Truly a Well Built American Automobile ??, as was
the totally redesigned, and updated Buick La Crosse, and the Cadillac XTS was truly, all Cadillac, a stunning, well thought out, beautifully designed American sedan…these three automobiles, were highly praised, and awarded, built by American workers, for American buyers ‘Class acts’…Check out Consumer Reports, JD Powers, and Others…Their now known,
as ‘If Onlys’…If Only the Powers that be at GM, had shown them the Respect they deserved,
and Advertised them, marketed them in the areas, and to types of buyers who Appreciate and Enjoy them, Place them in some TV shows and Movies ? But the Big Profit In Is in Cheaper to build Crossovers, Trucks and SUV’’s…Big Profit = Bigger Bonuses for Upper Management. When Gas goes Back Up, and It Will, the SUV’s and Trucks, will get parked!!
      Thanks for dropping by…

  4. I absolutely love my 2016 LTZ Impala. I’m at 77,000 miles and it had been a great car. I’m thinking about buying a second one before they are gone. GM should have marketed this car better, it far better than competitors.
